Hi Jason try looking on the GRV FAST TRACK page this link EXTERNAL LINK basically there is a list of times for each track if you dog runs slower he should get a start if he exceeds these times he will need to run at a non tier three meeting x amount of times (depending on how much he broke the time standard by) eg .001 < .100 1 run outside standard be able to return to tier three racing .301 + 4 runs outside standard to return hope this helps cheers Marty

IMO Tier 3 is a great system.......the time standards have been tweaked a little to improve it.......but the compensation (prizemoney) is not reflective of the turnover created. T3 racing should not be subsidising higher grade prizemoney.

IMO its generally ok i think the prize money is appropriate although payment for 4th could be a good idea t3 is for slower lower grade dogs to lengthen their racing career
It's not meant for proven fast dogs returning from injury or a run of bad luck raising the prize money too much could encourage more of this Marty

The tier system needs some tweaking. it should be designed to ensure every dog that chases continues racing.
At present the prize money is too low and needs some more lower levels.Try finding a public trainer to take a tier 3 dogs. Most cant be bothered attending these meetings. As a result too many slow dogs are not racing!
