Asking all to take the time to think ,what do you think the reasons behind this,we need to heed a warning maybe ?? Their reasoning so we can adjust to any new regulations,??

Because they know us participants have been unfairly treated over the last 2 years...& have been ripped-off for the last 20 years with the intercode agreement......and want to offer us a freebie in return.
YEAH RIGHT.

They are getting $41m. Maybe they don't need the money?

I suspect we will need a separate license for a breeder, owner, trainer and attendant, also if you check your own dogs you might need a muscle man license and undergo the relevant training.

So if my kid falls over & hurts him or herself, will in need to get a ticket to treat the injury?
They can go to hell Dan...A license to treat my own dog...Up their nose with a rubber hose. Won't happen.

Licence lasts for 2 years. They're bringing in new regulations in next 12 months , maybe some people won't qualify to be trainer etc due to land size, etc. I'm just guessing but I'm pretty sure new regulations are coming for trainers attendants breeders etc so maybe a grace period to either fix up ur kennels etc

To keep participants in the industry. I'd suspect many wouldn't bother renewing licences due to a complete lack of confidence in the future of the industry.

G'day Glen,i think you are the right track mate,i have been told it has to do with the new integrity unit that will be put in place shortly, making it a little more difficult to become licenced at all levels apparently.

Sounds like they are going to regulate themselves out of a job....
I think it could be so that we will not be under any financial contract of sort if there are any integrity changes that we really don't agree with , as well maybe some changes and even track closing , then we won't have much of aleg to actually stand on ,,because will be freeloading , some smart people are saying that we should not accept to much of what they are saying , because we know we dont trust anything that has come to being already. Their words are so as we can adjust to regulatory changes ?? Give some thoughts and maybe add your ideas as you know we must fight and by putting your thoughts on here will help show cause what we are thinking about their moves , that we are not going to take. It's only to soften the blow, before they make it impossible to operate. as a trainer, or owner, or breeder, with ridiculous hikes, and future charges, to force us all out of the game, and have only bigger kennels doing all the training!
Now take a look at the Licence Changes to be enforced in the coming months and maybe sooner, this is what I was aiming at , their free licence period was as some have stated already on here, was so we have to comply with no questions to be asked, brace your selves and read their licence requirements put out ?? Just how many more will give in , and give up ??

You only require 7 NSW participants to proceed with a claim in the Supreme Court. You have all the evidence to support your claim, go for it.

To accept the free 12 mth registration in chess terms is a poison pawn! Accept poison pawn, get trapped and face a heavy loss placing you in a resignable position. Don't accept. Dan is right. Counter attack thru Supreme Court, one and only defense.
