Both super sires which actually cross well together but which one is pound for pound the best sire on pup to runner ratio...

Kinloch Brae (Aug 2005) 6921 pups on Greyhound Data of which 16.38% are rated 100+ and 2.75% are rated 120+
Tullymurry Act (Dec 2007) 1188 pups on Greyhound Data of which 14.31% are rated 100+ and 2.10% are rated 120+

To put above numbers into perspective Headbound has 4511 pups and 23.81% are 100+

Based on Greyhound Data info, and do not know of any other site that has as much detailed information, I think its to close to call, KB has higher percentage of 100+ rated dogs but has been at stud for longer so has many more offspring some of them having more time and races to produce a high class run. but would say there are younger sires that are producing higher percentages than either of them for whatever reason

"To put above numbers into perspective Headbound has 4511 pups and 23.81% are 100+"

So to put that in to perspective, Headbound has thrown 1,000 dogs with 100+ ratings? Incredible.

Its interesting how Head bound has a ordinary strike rate as a brood sire for his great numbers as a sire he falls away in the breeding stakes dramatically

In Ireland, Head Bound was no.1 brood sire in 2015, no.2 in 2016 & currently is in the top 2 in 2017.

From a handful of bitches in Australia he is currently in the top 10 as a brood sire.

The one time he mated a good brood bitch in Australia, 'It's a She' became brood bitch of the year in Australia.

David, from my records the only other sire with a large sample of offspring that can compere to Headbound is El Grand Senor, both have very similar numbers of 100+ offrspring

Head Bound is simply awesome as a stud dog. Obviously it depends on a broods lines etc but generally speaking i think he the one you want to go to with a first time brood because if a litter to Head Bound turns out to be average your brood probably hasn't got a great career ahead of her in the breeding pens.

I suppose his damline is simply the best there ever has been.

Sobbing Sal, Wee Sal, Im Blessed

Not to many sires left with unbroken dam lines to these ladies.

Oaks road has 160 offspring rated 100+ out of 714 pups not a bad return

If you take the top 100 dogs currently of 2017 from UK/Ireland as shown on the stats section of this site a remarkable 10 are sired by Tullymurry Act.

What makes this even more fantastic is that these 10 dogs have actually come from 9 different broods, showing he crosses very well with a wide variety of lines.
