I have been involved and around greyhound racing for 30 years now, and I have to say these two bitches is what just keeps me interested in the game. I have been following both these incredible bitches for most of their careers and have been fascinated at how they have been not only great greyhounds but also great rivals. They are almost like the 'Ali & Frazier' of greyhound racing.
I was really hoping that they would both do battle in the final once again but than I realised that they were in the semi final together and I just hoped they both got through. My God what a showdown!

I cant wait to be trackside now to see these two super dogs do battle once again. Im really hoping that one of them can win it, however the new girl on the block Miss Splendamiro may be the one to spoil the party. Either way I have loved watching Striker & Jill do battle throughout their careers, and the race between them both tonight is what greyhound racing is truly all about. WHAT A RACE!!

Absolutely love it to Ray. I love to see good bitches like that battle it out. I love the rivalry with these 2 as well. Good luck to both in the final. Love to see Striker 1 1/2 in front down the back from Jill. Would be an amazing finish.

It was great ..... first thing I said as they brushed each other around the home turn
Then the race caller repeated the same words
One of the rare occasions where times are irrelevant
But run of the night went to keroma ! Breathtaking
Shaping as a good final
It will be Good to watch ripper and rippin make their runs together also
A night not to miss

Yeah they sure are " bonnie bitche's" Ray,& this year's final could see a very exciting finish,Stryker Light drawn to just lead Up Hill Jill going past the pen,i think Crash Bandicoot will be be right up their "clacker's",Dual Keroma & Miss Splendamiro will be right on their backside's as well, but if Crash Bandicoot begins to the best best of his ability,& get's a clear run down the back,i think he will round up the two bitches rounding the turn & win...just,in "blanket finish" from Stryker Light,Up Hill Jill,Dual Keroma,Miss Splendamiro,Bomshell Bandit,Two TimesTwice & Fernando Express.( just my thought's...who has theiropinion/ thoughts on this years final?).

Just had a look at the early fixed odd's market,Stryker Light & Miss Splendamiro are equal favourites at $ 3.50,Dual Keroma $4.40,Up Hill Jill $4.60,Crash Bandicoot $5.50,& the rest are 16's or better,i just feel that "Stryker" isn't quite going as well as she been, but box 1 could be the key on Saturday night,( i have been,& still am a huge fan of this bitch, but i just think Crash Bandicoot get's a beautiful trail right behind the two bitche's,& can finish over the top of them especially if he see's "daylight" going past the 700 boxe's),but as the market suggest,it would be no surprise to see any of the top 5 win the final, sure to be one hell of a race!.The very best of luck to all.( If the race was on in the next 30 minute's,based on this market, who would you put your'e folding stuff on & why.

Dual keroma
Good beginner , has a brain ! Picks his run and then unwinds with a powerful finish
He has it all and is peaking at the right time
8 box ideally drawn
His sire Lochinvar marlow very underrated
Rippin Sam also in the distance race
Also a clever bugger

WHAT A RACE AGAIN between these 2 great bitches.

That win by JILL was that gutsy it had shades of PAUA TO BURN's win in the 2005 Egg Fnl, when she beat EIFFELLA in a finish I thought I'd never see again.

UP HILL JILL & STRIKE A LIGHT (& all concerned).....I take my hat off.

That's what racing is all about.

Got it in one Steven.
What a race , absolutely fantastic.
The early speed of Up Hill Jill and Striker Light absolute destroyed the field.
Two fantastic bitches.
Exactly what greyhound racing is all about.
Congratulations to the Gealls and Bravos, and to the GBOTA on a very successful night of racing.

The first Easter Egg I went to was back in 1994. This has always been a race won by the true champions barring a couple of long shots.

Mark Duclos put a video together last week of the top 5 Easter Egg wins, and all I can say is that Up Hill Jill must be included in that top 5.

FINALLY she cracked it for a big win in Sydney after being placed in so many major finals.

I have absolutely no idea how Striker Light did not win back to back Easter Eggs tonight. I backed the one and it had to be a true champion to denie her the history making victory.

MAN WHAT AN INCREDIBLE RACE THAT WAS

I could watch these two champion bitches race each other again and again

Does anyone have the stats of how many times they have raced one another, and who has won the most?

I was at Wenty on Saturday night

It was champagne racing at its best

Daryl, agree Steve Keeping's win was outstanding, he went past Rippin Sam in the back straight like he was tied to the fence

On the presentation dais, he stood like a statue, except for his wagging tail and he wouldn't have blown out a candle

Sam certainly wasn't RIPPIN through the catching pen, i hope it doesn't become a habit.
