I was hoping someone could give me a rough estimate how much it would cost to send 2 three month old pups from Melbourne airport to NZ. Does jet pets organise it for you? Or are there any other companies that people would recommend? Thanks in advance. Ash.

I remember someone telling me once that it costs around 1600 a dog was about the going rate but i believe that may have gone up.

I don't know if it matters that much regarding crate size and weight of the dogs, but I know it's about 4000 to send to nz and 3500 to get from nz a 27 kg dog.

$2250au for one $1650 per dog for 2 plus another $1000 plus for nz fees per dog that's the race dog price don't think you would get pups over for much cheaper

I don't think you will get any cheaper than $1650 that Calum pays, I'd be asking for his transport company. I know it's about $3500 to get a dog from nz and I was told it was about $4000 when the dog went there. That was through jetpets to and from Auckland.

Thanks everyone. It's not cheap is it. Though plenty of people still send their dogs over there. Calum do you mind me asking who you go through?

Hi Ashley, I have sent plenty of race dogs over there via Jetpets. If other dogs are going to and from the same airport/flight as mine it has been $1650 per dog. If mine is the only one on flight it has been $2250.

Jetpets have always been reliable and do a great job just a shame it cost so much all the companies are similarly priced
