Are there any minutes available from the IGOBF AGM for 2018.

Remember that the IGOBF has a Constitutional remit as an Nominating body for Seanad Eireann as below.

Dail Eireann has recognised the IGOBF as a valuable asset to the Irish Greyhound Industry by including it on the register of nominating bodies under the SEANAD ELECTORAL (PANEL MEMBERS) ACTS 1947 TO 1972

We are not talking about a Local Parish Hall Committee here.

Owners and Breedes around the Country are interested in how the Organisation that purports to represent them is managing its affairs

David I asked same question on IGOBF 2017 AGM topic and Dave replied as follows.

Dave Cunningham wrote:

Meeting was abandoned due to certain issues arising on the night, issues will be straightened out asap and all delegates will be informed of next meeting date in due course.

Regarding the position of new IGB chairman it is very important that we are appointed the right person to take this industry forward, the closing date has been extended by one week due to lack of interest shown.

Thanks Tom,

Very strange that it was on a thread headed AGM 2017.

Do you have any idea as to what issues need to be straightened out in order for the AGM to take place?

Sorry David but I dont, I knew meeting was last Wed and it seemed an open meeting but unfortunately I couldnt attend. I was more curious to see what the new committee looked like as well as main points discussed.

Any update has a meeting been held if not is one being arranged. Surely with new Chairman and relatively new CEO federation should be sorting out its position.

Thanks Tom for reminding me. The IGOBF are as solid as the day we took over and we are moving forward with our business, we will be holding an ordinary general meeting in the next few weeks to discuss a way forward and all delegates will be notified of date and venue shortly.

Fair play Dave, hopefully it wont descend into the farce the last one did. Speaking to some people who were there it seems to have been an embarrassment.
