funny you can scratch a horse because you gave it to much breakfast but you cant scratch a dog because you believe its not chasing

Just curious, but if it is not chasing, why would you enter it in the first place ? ,,,, or did the dog wake up one morning and just decide.. "Bugger this, I wont chase today"?
