He insisted that it is time the Greyhound Industry was treated properly & fairly by the Government as with the other 2 codes.
He called for a full share of 22% of the Intercode Distribution + (PLUS) full Tax Harmonisation of 22% + $130 million up front to upgrade track facilities & safe racing surfaces.
(The money he stated is rightfully ours due to the Govt turning a blind eye despite enquiries & recommendations to correct inequities over the last 17 years of the Intercode.) I feel the Alliance needs to adopt these demands & forget the Intercode_ or Tax Harmonisation cap in hand approach.
Our new Premier has a big mess to clean up.
Its time we helped the Polititions realise they must treat all people with due fairness. I believe the Alliance has done an excellent job in saving our Industry but feel it is time to ask for exactly what the other codes receive (OUR FAIR SHARE) + compensation
for past discrimination to bring our Industry up to date & have welfare outcomes the public & ourselves aspire to. Many thanks to the Alliance team for their selfless work in representing us. Regards,
