Sworn to secrecy, but the A.W.U has gone into bat (and won) in several recent cases. In despair? low on funds? to fight the good fight against a fully funded govt. instrument??? The A.W.U has let a few late joiners become a member and gone in to bat for them( successfully) , but it will not always be the case. I implore all professionals, you need to join. I expect to be on radar just because my name appears here. The A.W.U is not a benevolent fund, but sustained membership is like "fire insurance". Hope you never need it, But , so glad you did.!!! when the smoke appears.
