Ireland is a Democracy where everyone has the right to free speech and protest Dave, the aforementioned hearing was to establish the areas in which the protesters could legally protest without interfering with the rights of people wishing to go racing. The areas were agreed with all parties so I imagine the costs were minimal. I think the CEO did well to go to Court and get a result, he must have known that he would have been damned if he did and damned if he didn't. You are scraping the barrel Dave, if this is all you can find to moan about the IGB must be doing a good job.

"The CEO scrapped every few euros the greyhound owners were getting", sorry I didn't know that, in which I have to agree with you that only a fool would race a greyhound for no prize money.

IGB spend to much time fighting court cases against employees than trying to run this industry properly, lets hope we get a new government and a new Minister who can see that this current IGB Board are not fit for purpose.

Scraping the barrel again Dave, the man's just doing his job. If he hadn't taken the action you would have accused him of not being fit for purpose.

John, please dont read my posts if they annoy you and cant respond with something good, im only highlighting the state of this incompetent IGB which you have always supported, and yes John, none of those people are fit for purpose, {look at the state of the accounts} thats why we must and will have them removed before they sink the ship.

Claim on facebook that greyhound industry
faces "up to" 250,000 legal bill for recent court case. Certainly hope that was a mis print and isn't correct.

The settlement indicated the "good will" between the parties I read somewhere.
There is no goodwill. None at all.

The CEO applauded himself{for good will} when the Judge allowed the Protesters to Protest 3.5 mts either side of Shelbourne gates, this was nothing to do with the so called Antis but had plenty to do with others not to far away, who ever printed the flyers threatening locals around SP needs to be hung drawn and thrown out of this industry and they be made pay the bill for good will.

Dave, how many different faces have sat around the boardroom table since you first uttered your oft repeated phrase, 'not fit for purpose', I'm not saying they were all good, but they were not all bad either.

The Guards have now been asked to intervene regarding those threatening home made flyers that were thrown around SP.
