Irish Greyhound Owners and Breeders Federation Following the greyhound owners and breeders federation meeting last week it was decided to run a monster benefit meeting at Shelbourne Park on Friday 13th of September to raise much needed funds to save our tracks. After the hammer blow of Lifford and Longford tracks closing and the publication of the indecon report imminent everyone one connected to our sport, greyhound owners, trainers, breeders, punters, transporters, stud keepers, all stakeholders of the country need to be ready for more disappointing news. With this in mind a very successful benefit meeting may in some small way allow the federation to make a significant contribution to enable some of these tracks to remain open. Now is the time to stand together and be counted. A serious effort is needed and our voice has to be heard. TIME is not on our side, Its time that all sections of the industry stand together divided we fall united we conquer. Many thanks. All donations welcome. EXTERNAL LINK
Open Meeting for all pro racers, owners, breeders, trainers etc. Please show your support.
