We need everyone to get behind this night, tickets will be on sale at every track over the weekend and also on line or through PayPal, your support is welcome from all over the globe.
If there is enough interest a bus can be arranged from Thurles track at 5pm Friday 13th for Save Our Tracks night. Please let us know in advance so we can arrange same if the numbers are there.
Just a tought would it be possible that all 18 tracks hold a benefit nite for each individual stadium in Ireland one by one for example clonmel are organising a benefit night for it's track if all 18 did a benefit night the same week for clonmel it would generate 18 times more funds for the track and so on with the next track and the next track after that until all 18 tracks are done...
It's a shame that the owners and trainers have to raise money for the stadiums ,it's also a shame that we havn't a good board that could make changes for the better and drive the industry forward and keep all stadiums open.
MASSIVE SAVE OUR TRACKS BENEFIT AT SHELBOURNE Ian Fortune On Friday eveningShelbourne will host one of the largest benefit meetings of the year in aid of the Save Our Tracks campaign. With printing restrictions, Damien Matthews would like to remind anyone interested in race sponsorship, dog nominations or advertising on the card they should get in touch before Wednesday. On the night there will be races over all distances and it promises to provide a perfect lead into the Boylesports Derby semi finals, which will dominate the action twenty-four hours later. Of course, with the Juvenile Derby starting just seven days later there could be some potential superstars on view and a journey to HQ comes highly advised. More importantly, the purpose of the night is to create a slush fund, which can be used at short notice to fund any of our tracks that find themselves in need of financial aid. If you want to contribute please dont hesitate to contact Damien Matthews on 0879140013.
We need as many as possible to turn out and support the night, tickets are still available through your GOBA or on-line. you can support us by purchasing a ticket even if you cannot attend. There is also race card sponsorship, race sponsorship and nominations for each race. Many thanks to all those who have worked to get ticket sales and to those that purchased tickets and sponsored races so far.
