Report on Saturday's Horses and Dog races

Mckinnon Stakes
1st Magic Wand 5.30 + 2.50 + 5 = 12.80 pts (Lazza)
2nd Melody Belle 1.80 + 3 = 4.80 (quite a few)
3rd Hartnell 3.00 + 1 = 4 (nobody)
Sub Melody Belle 1.80 (Tiger Tor & Bat M no bonus points for failing to enter, bonus pts are for entering an actual scratching)

Top Gun Stayers
1st Blue Moon Rising 6.80 + 2.00 + 5 = 13.80 (Mr Clever, Plenty Moore, Pastor Bool)
2nd Just Terms 2.50 + 3 = 5.50 (Dr Huss, Quassie Bell)
3rd Boom Down 1.80 + 1 = 2.80 (Macwollie, Lazza)
Sub Tornando Tears 4th

Top Gun Sprinters
1st Get it Gizmo 11.20 + 2.70 + 5 = 18.90 (nobody)
2nd Feral Franky 2.30 + 3 = 5.30 (King Jack)
3rd Whisky Riot 4.10 + 1= 5.10 (Pastor Bool, Quassie Bell)
Sub Sennachi Fell

Very tight at the top only .10 seperating Not the PAW and Macwollie with Pastor Bool making a late dash with his greyhound knowledge. Spare a thought about Not Tor James, stuck on rock bottom with 2 lousy points courtesy of the Conveners sub for joining in late and quote his 1st post on here:

"I know extremely little about horses and the way I've been going not much more about greyhounds, but if it isn't too late to join in"

I thought he must a least get a point today in the last race with the favorite "Sennachi" in the Top Gun but then only to see it come down on the first turn, now this is a mock of all mocks, but at least Not Tor you front every week and the two leaders are hanging out for your tips in a couple of weeks time for the Melb Cup and Bold Trease, the last two events on the calendar.

Leader Board
1. "Not The" Paul Wheeler - 97.70 + 4.80 = 102.50
2. Pete "Macwollie" Gurry - 94.80 + 4.80 + 2.80 = 102.40
3. Jamie "Pastor Bool" Quinlivian - 56.90 + 13.80 + 5.10 = 75.80
4. Simon "The Likeable" Milgate - 74.70
5. Brett "Bat" Margerison - 53.40 + sub 1.80 = 55.20
6. Malcolm Lean "Pickings" - 49.40 + 4.80 = 54.20
7. "Tiger" Tor Janes - 46.60 + sub 1.80 = 48.40
8. King Jack Ogilvie - 42.50 + 5.30 = 47.80
9. Terry "Dr Huss" Jordan - 39.10 + 5.50 = 44.60
10. Sandro "Sydney" Bechini - 39.40 + 4.80 = 44.20
11. Larry "Lazza" Valenti - 27.70 + 12.80 + 2.80 = 43.30
12. Ron "The Poet" Hunter - 32.80 + 4.80 = 37.60
13. Ryan "The Vanderbilts" - 33.30
14. Pete "Quassie" Bell - 22.60 + 5.50 + 5.10 = 33.20
15. Simon "Plenty" Moore - 16.20 + 13.80 = 30.00
16. Doug "Mr Clever" Smart - 11.90 + 13.80 = 25.70
17. Graham "Gerhard Shoether" - 12.80 + 4.80 = 17.60
18. The Convener's Sub - 11.10 + 4.80 = 15.90

12. Ron "The Poet" Hunter - 32.80 + 4.80 = 37.60 + 5.50 (accounting error) = 43.10

Not the PAW,
Not from me 1st place rival and I live just 15 mins from the track and have been going to Sandown for 48 years off and on. I will be live there on heat night and the final so good luck I'm sure being The Convener I've got enough enemies on here to help you out, try a Dr Huss Jordan, Pastor Bool Quinlivian, Simon the Likeabe, The Vanderbilts and now The Poet after robbing him 5.50 pts last night. BTW you seem to have a very good knowledge what's going on in Aus by being on top, what's the score your putting seasoned performers on here to shame. - Macwollie

Convener's interception: That bloody Macwollie entrapping my independence for his own greed to win this competition.

Not the PAW

The Greyhound Melbourne Cup Grp 1 515M Sandown Park Heats Friday 22/11/2019, Final 29/11/2109

8 heats for the best 64 nominated Greyhounds. Now there is a couple of ways to gain a free pass by winning one of the preludes conducted at the track in the last few weeks and also they have handed out free entry to the heats for the Irish Derby winner and one from NZ. I don't know if they are coming. 8 heat winners to contest final (no semis)

The Bold Trease Grp 1 (named after 4 time winner of the Sandown Cup) 715M run in conjunction with the Melbourne Cup
3 - 4 heats depending on number of noms 1st, 2nd or 3rd to contest the final following week.

You'll find probably all the Top Gun dogs last night will be racing in both.

Further up to date info including replays etc go to GRV's Fastrack EXTERNAL LINK you don't need to be a member that's only to access other material for trainers and owners on the site. You'll find replays of last nights races under The Meadows and you'll see your hope Sennachi bowled over on the first turn. - Good Luck The Convener

Here's a helpful tip from and old campaigner ("Not The".)
"Put your last tips in as late as possible"!

As the Rat cunning Macwollie, will surely copy your first tip! and then only need to place in front of you in the last race. To Win?

Thus far, your either VERY lucky? or VERY astute! Keep it up for one last meeting. We here in Aust wont be able to stand the constant bragging (Bleating) from Macwollie IF HE WINS.
