EXTERNAL LINK With Bernard's recent departure on the 9th of September 2019 at 68 years of age a request was put out in remembrance of Bernard a prolific poster of info on horses and participation in various footy and racing tipping comps in the talk section that he be remembered at this time of year with an annual points competition over the Spring Carnival in 16 selected Group 1 events or in NSW case 2 races worth a lot over 10 weeks covering both the thoroughbreds and greyhounds in Victoria and NSW. Most weekends you'll be required to nominate 1 or 2 selections with running tally's recorded and posted that night.
First week to kick off will be Saturday 5th October 2019 full schedule and conditions to follow shortly.
Registration is free simply by entering and placing your selection on here before they jump in the 1st competition race played that day or evening and there will be donated prizes handed out to the winners.

Pts 5 3 1 basis plus STab W/P Div ie: Horse/Dog wins 5pts + $4.20 1.80 = 11pts 2nd 3pts + $3.70 = 6.7pts halves for d/heats
Scratching or missed placing a tip that week you get the STAB Sub for that race found in the results page of STAB (Note NSW may differ not counted STAB only) Late starters to comp for the 1st 3 meetings get Sub. Internationals most welcome as 3 plane loads of their horses are headed our way including one Bernard had just paid a share in "Rockabill" we'll keep an eye out for that one.
Protests can be lodged if we make an error in ladder positions. I'll kick off the Prize Pool with a $50 Dan Murphy's or W'Worths Voucher. - Macwollie
Now beware Bernard will be watching events as he requested his ashes be spread at Flemington and Caulfield thoroughbred Race tracks as well as his home Greyhound club of Ballarat.

Recording of this comp will be done by a simple pen and paper system as I was taught by nuns in 60's if you weren't neat and accurate you copped a hiding so I don't require a program from Messers Jobs and Gates to only confuse things further ie: so you can simply post your selections like my entry or Race and horse/dog number if you prefer.
