I hate to think how many Greyhound farms are effected by the fires ..

I hope everyone is safe...

I had to post this because i am sick of hearing these fires where caused by Climate change ..

Thanks to all the Greens that have expanded our National and State parks
Thanks to all the Greens who have reduced controlled burns
Thanks to the Greenies who chained themselves to trees to get media attention.
Thanks to the media for giving them prime time to achieve their goals.
Thanks to the legislation to stop roadside firewood collection
Thanks to the shires who wont allow trees to be fell on private property
Thanks to the Government for stopping grazing in the High Country
Thanks to the lack of roadside grass cutting bu shires
Thanks to the Greens for brainwashing the next generation.
And then you all have the audacity to blame climate change!
Hope your movement of what you have created take responsibility for the horrific bushfires that are ripping the heart and soul from so many towns and communities in our country...

I have to ask, how many greenies are at the fire front trying to help these communities? How many are chaining themselves to trees? Are out rescuing the wildlife or that special rare plant species?

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS CARNAGE WE ARE NOW FACING!

P.S.
The greenies will come on as keyboard warriors.. but as an 8th generation pioneer descendent and 5 generation of logging throughout East Gippsland... the current fires surpass any previous bushfires thanks to our indigenous and pioneers who followed their traditions. I am all for recycling, growing trees, regeneration - but not for idiotic tree hugging bureaucratic bullshit that has contributed to the current situation.. all I can say, hope you too get through the current catastrophe unscathed.

An official Bushfire Disaster Appeal has been set up in response to the overwhelming request from our generous community who are wanting to make donations.

Experience tells us that donation of money is much more effective and provides more flexibility than the donation of material items or pre-loved goods.

If you would like to donate to the Bushfire Disaster Appeal you can do so here: http://emergency.vic.gov.au/relief/?fbclid=IwAR2plBQYPy-1OvOvEknTe5Jm8MP6nIM3yEveAiwFuLxYBgMMQ_Eao_xaePw#donations

Bushfire Disaster Appeal

A Bushfire Disaster Appeal has been established in support community members affected by the recent bushfires in East Gippsland and Hume.

Donations to the Bushfire Disaster Appeal can be made at any Bendigo Bank branch or online vi EXTERNAL LINK
All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible and donors will be provided with a tax receipt through the Foundation.

The appeal provides a formal channel for the public to donate money directly to affected communities and is designed to achieve positive outcomes for the community, by working directly with local recovery committees and structures to inform and drive the distribution of funds.

The appeal will be conducted by the Bendigo Banks charitable arm, Community Enterprise Foundation, and funds raised will be used in a range of locally identified charitable areas to provide relief and recovery in the fire affected areas.

Material Goods

Emergency management personnel are busy working with local councils in the affected areas to assess the needs of their communities.

The best way you can help is by donating money to a registered not-for-profit organisation helping with the relief and recovery effort (or to a Community Relief Fund, if established).

Experience tells us that donation of money is much more effective and provides more flexibility than the donation of material items or pre-loved goods.

At this stage, we do not need donations of furniture or any other hard goods and we are unable to store or sort them. Please hold onto your donations until those affected know what they need.

Kev,
It seems to be the way the world is going where minority rules and no responsibilities are taken.
Personally I think its a combination of many things but what you wrote certainly hasn't helped.
They will keep going onto the next agenda and walk away, offering no solutions to the problems they caused.

Great to hear there is a national appeal happening.
They'll need all the help they can get after tomorrow.
Saturday is D-Day...shocking.

Has anyone seen any vegans or animal welfare activist groups running onto farms and into Bushfire areas to save native wildlife stock etc.
Must be at the beach waiting for a taxpayer free ride in a navy boat.
