Grey-Aid with the support of the GRV are raising funds to help the owners or trainers of a greyhound or greyhounds that have been disadvantaged by the recent fires in Australia.

The first phase was to set up our Go Fund Me page:

EXTERNAL LINK

Thank you to all that have donated it has been a huge help.

Phase 2 is to run auctions of Straws, Greyhound Equipment or any item our members would like to donate.

Your support is very important as the funds we are raising is going out very quickly to those who need it. If you can help please post the item you would like to donate in this thread and we will take it from there. Alternately you can email the Grey-Aid team on [email protected]

Phase 3 will be the support from GRV which will be announced at a later stage.

Thank you everyone for your support it has been fantastic.

Our first donation comes from Darren Core who has experienced the fires first hand.

"I'd like to offer a straw from Forty Twenty to support the fund raising campaign.
It is currently held at Sires on Ice at Calga NSW."

Darren considering all you have been through and you are thinking of and helping others is fantastic and really shows the Aussie Spirit.

Well done, Tony.

Please, everyone support this auction.
The need is very real and people are doing it very tough.

We now have a disaster on top of a disaster with massive flooding, especially in NSW.
Unbelievable!

Darren,
I'm well aware of what you've been through and it's been nothing short of hell especially with your little girl.
It's very humbling to see you donate to the cause.
Forty Twenty offers some great colonial bloodlines and the damline is one of the best there is.
If someone has a bitch with some outcross in her and is looking to inject some strength, he is a great option for her.

Please people, give what you can.
Leading Studmasters and Owners, please give generously.
Clubs around Australia, even if it's a bundle of trials, please give.

GIVE WHAT YOU CAN!

To all the victims...HANG IN THERE.

Kev, Sandro, Hayden...

Great effort and very generous from you guys...Greatly appreciated.

Good karma comes to those who give.

Kev,
I'm sure once the word gets out that some of the bigger guys will step up to the plate.
They have before and no reason why they won't considering the massive damage done.

Besides, who'd want K. Wright knocking on their door? Lol.

They'll come good...I have the faith.
PW...a FB straw would be nice...mate, cobber, digger, buddy, pal, friend....?

I've lived the life as all Aussies should
I've worked to the bone and done all I could
To provide for family and enjoy the ride
Life's been good, all needs were satisfied

Until now...

Burnt out ruins of our humble home
Is all that is left on a bare piece of loam
The heart is torn and tears run free
But I hide the emotions from my family

I'm a proud Australian who does no harm
A simple man who works the farm
But the farm is no more, destroyed by the buffering
And the animals are gone and no longer suffering

I never thought the day would come
When I couldn't see the brightest sun
Or bring joy to my children's eyes
But my masquerade is a pack of lies

The burden is too heavy and I'm sinking deep
The pressure is tearing me apart and I can't sleep
I'm a proud Australian with a proud past
I'm a proud Australian and too proud to ask.

So I'm asking for him, please give.

Straws, equip, services, goods...ANYTHING.

Cheers.

I dont mind ringing a few OTB and Studmasters if needed Tony ....

Good to see some money going out the people in need right now ...

Here is a great chance for some of the lesser known Stud dogs and Stud master to share the gift of semen ..

The opportunity of .FREE ADVERTISEMENT must be worth one vial considering it cost most studs very little to draw and split from there Sires ..
