Hi Kevin, Thanks for your input. This might explain why we are getting different answers from 3 different I.T. people. This weekend we have all of them having a conference call and suggesting actions we can take.

For the past 6 or 7 hours the connection to the site and connecting to a thread has been fast. I hope the I.T. people solved the problem.

might have something to do with all the adds, my blocker says 48 on this page alone...

Hi Malcom, that was the first thing we checked, it is not the adds. Your add blocker must be continually counting the revolving adverts. The is a maximum of 5 adverts showing at a time, 3 GD members adverts and 2 google advert.
If we do not have members adverts and google adverts we might as well close the doors and turn the lights off.
