It is a true test of greatness how long a name remains in the public's memory. To this day the name of George Curtis and Ballyregan Bob are still spoken of with great admiration and pride. Both Dog and man will never be forgotten.
Rest in Peace

As I was born on the south coast George was my mentor and hero in the sixtees and seventees. He was a true gentleman and always had time to pass on knowledge to an inquisitive sprog! He didn't like racing dogs until they were 2 years old by which time their muscles and skeletons had fully developed which usually resulted in minimum injuries and a long racing life. All greyhounds were treated with the same care whether they were A8 graders or champions. RIP George.
