seems strange ballarat as erased the old track records whilst the box distances are the same the new surface must be deemed to be slower.

I understand that the Dapto 520m Track Record may have fallen last night to OH SO SMOOTH, doing so in the Final of the Greyhound Silver Collar.
He hit the lead at the post the first time, then scorched around in times of 5.44, 17.04 & 12.47 for 29.51 overall, scoring by 7.5 lengths. The runner-up is a sub 30-seconds winner at Wentworth Park, so to put nearly 8 lengths on him in a lap was quite remarkable!
That's who she'll be going to, Grant. She had ovulated too early last time so we couldn't implant her; hoping she won't be far away from coming on again.
I just wish we'd been able to race her. Can't say she'd have been as quick as those two littermates, but she'd shown us plenty before going amiss.
Anyway, the breeding barn is her future now... fingers are crossed it eventuates for us sooner rather than later!

I might be missing something, but if i recall correctly than that is the 3rd time the TR at Bendigo over the 500m has been broken in the last month or so,
Taking nothing away from the winner as i have a strong interest in the breeding (My girl has a tummy full to Vapour Whirl), it just seems odd the TR has been broken so often.
Do you have questions how to use the Greyhound-Data website?
