Yes Stevo, Russell Farrell bred Allez Brigette, & we bred Jetta's Girl.
The track at Ippy has been pretty quick for a few months I reckon, and in a way I think it's a shame both the 431m & 630m records went on the same day, as some people may raise that as an 'issue'.
As an interesting sidenote, the former 431m Track Record holder Ruff It and the new 630m flagbearer Allez Brigette both come from the Pretty Wagtail/ Subjective. / Glenross Girl / National Queen tail-line ... the same as the likes of Vee Man Vane, who has sired a few very fast ones himself over recent months. Bruce Cooper is deservedly proud of what the grandsons and granddaughters of his girls have been able to achieve!

Black Magic Opal is a brilliant young dog...another youngster with a stud career to follow, no doubt.

no offence to grigorieva bale but you would have to question his record on the opening nite of the bendigo track.Perhaps they clocked the lure like some say or the timer wasnt working properly. This bloke ran 23.54 last week!! CLICK HERE

Bookkeeper just beat Nellie Noodles 3 and 1/2 year old 600m Meadows track record in a time of 8.82, 21.72, 34.05 with a run home of 12.33. He pinged the lids from the pink box and led all the way. Congratulations to Bookkeeper's connections. Fitting tribute to the great Bombastic Shiraz :)

I might be missing something, but if i recall correctly than that is the 3rd time the TR at Bendigo over the 500m has been broken in the last month or so,
Taking nothing away from the winner as i have a strong interest in the breeding (My girl has a tummy full to Vapour Whirl), it just seems odd the TR has been broken so often.
For a track record that was supposedly always broken and a bit of a soft touch as far as records go it still stands after nearly a year. considering shroeder and david bale and proven nitro couldnt get with in 6 lengths of it says something about this record, takes a fast dog too break 28 secs.THe 425 has held on since opening nite considering BMO raced there three weeks ago says alot too about these records.
