Paul I dont know about Dave and what kind of dogs he has,but im relatively new to having my own dogs, would like to have a good one like anyone else and certainly wouldn't begrudge ANYONE having good dogs, coz I know what time and effort goes into dogs if you are trying to do them well, like im trying to do with limited resources. ...but one thing that totally crabs me is cheats and dishonest carry on....If the trainer in question had a clean slate and wasn't under such understandable suspicion id have no problem in the world but until issues about him are cleared up it all looks very very suspicious. ..thats all..
Alison I see your trainers in the news again how unlucky is he. ANOTHER batch of bad meat.
Another, here was me coming around to meat contamination.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. In all that!

Guys, there is a saying that is very applicable on this thread, and I quote, "If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck".

Certainly an interesting case considering the meat feeding guidelines issued by the IGB way back sometime ago, preceding the positive tests results as shown by the IGB.

12,000 Red Mills Champion Open Unraced 1ST round
Some fabulous looking greyhounds on show for the opening round of this prestigious event, there were dogs there with more muscles than Iron Mike Tyson some with necks on them like telegraph poles and dogs that looked a lot older than you would expect for dogs so young, People have kept dogs back especially for this big calendar event hoping to get a good performance from their charges and maybe that valuable sale afterwards 20-30 thousand if lucky enough, Im rather surprised why the sponsors do not stipulate that testing is carried out in these opening rounds, this would IMO lift integrity and show transparency something which is sadly lacking in Irish greyhound racing and until this starts happening we will never achieve full support from the public at large, They didn't even test the final of the last big stake at this venue, this only spells disaster for the sport and for the small man and his dog. The IGB must implement testing in all opening rounds of these competitions in order to regain the confidence of the public and owners JMO.

Paul I have tried the golf but could only just get the ball off the tee so I gave it a miss , Paul I'm not condemning the dogs in any way what so ever some of them were fabulous to look at and credit to their owners, my whole point is why cant the board use their common sense and start putting proper measures in place to stop all the negativity and downward spiral of our industry, by changing their ways of operating they could help owners with the sale of their pups including you and me and push for a more transparent platform for all. We need a new board for this to happen IMO .

At least it looks like we have a patern here i see the dog i was referring to did NOT run TONIGHT
i see another on the list due to run at mullingar tomorro so thatll be interesting to see if he gets running
You would think if these dogs were banned the first point off contact would be owners and then racing managers not to be carding these dogs to save any non runners

When these dogs are banned from racing it's a must that if and when they pass a drug test and are cleared for racing it's published... Could or would anyone that owns or trains any the dogs on positive test lists since october clarify the procedure to get a dog/bitch cleared...

dave hormone will do that, it can be used to build up muscle, so if u smart it can be used , and it take three months to be out of the systerm, just because they got big muscle, does mean a thing as when tested they would be clear,
