I wonder if there was any testing in Shelbourne tonight on dogs that found a lot of time on previous runs, or even questioned about them.

Dave when I submitted my name to your petition and asked others for signatures, I myself did so on the understanding that this petition was being coordinated and compiled by an individual for the individuals of the sport...Now Dave I have been speaking to a few people tonight who are concerned by what they are reading of late on this thread, and are starting to worry that in actual fact you have handed over the reins to igobf to continue the campaign. ..Dave can you confirm or deny this please??...

Patrick, I don't know where you are going with this ,but I can tell you that I have never been in touch with the IGOBF and I would never have started this campaign if I could not finish what I set out to achieve ,I do not wish any help from anyone or any organizations at this moment in time, but when the time comes that I need guidance and backing from people who know the Industry a lot better than me I will ask for their help,
I am a Scott's man with a different outlook in life than most people ,and when I see something going badly wrong I will try and do something about it, you have been in this mess for a long time now and have chosen to do nothing to rectify the problem, This cheating has been going on for years and the same people are still at it ,if it is not stopped shortly ,in 3-4 years we wont have Breeders or tracks, so please try to Help the cause and not doubt it.

I wait your reply Patrick.
PS I have no control over peoples thoughts or posts, please refrain from posting material which might reflect on our petition.

Thank you for your reply Dave,The reason the question was asked was so I could confirm not only to myself but to others, that this petition is not being controlled by anyone other than a concerned owner/breeder within our sport. Dave we all have different opinions on certain groups and individuals within our sport and rightly so,after all we live in a democracy, but I for one would never ally myself to the igobf under its current leadership, and would not like my signature forwarded to any department government or otherwise with igobf attached to same. ..
Again Thank you for your honesty, and also for the hard work you have done to date in trying to bring about a resolution to the difficulties we find ourselves in, and look forward to hearing your next plan of action so we can as owners/ trainers/breeders bring about an end to the injustice being perpetrated upon us all at the moment. ..

Hello to all who took part and signed our petition, we have reached our goal of 500+ signatures , 444 replies and a massive 45.000 + views ,The comments posted shows that there is massive interest in the greyhound Industry and the immediate need for changes to be made to the current rules and regulations, I will personally hand over the entire down loads of the petition results to Minister Tom Hayes at the earliest time available to him, I will also put forward the current positive samples and names issues which have to be addressed with immediate effect .

Many thanks to all who took the time to get behind the petition with the view to moving forward .

I will post the outcome of the meeting on this Forum after the meeting has taken place.

A special thanks to Loraine Nash who took the time and effort in collecting names at her local track and to all who contributed names from their private gallops , phone calls ,emails and private messages shows the great interest there is in our great sport.

If we cannot do it for ourselves ,lets do it for them ,our greyhounds.

Hi Dave

I wouldn't worry at all about things going quiet.

The petition has been an outstanding success and people who have taken the time to complete the petition beacause they love the dogs and want the Greyhound Industry to move into a new open and positive age, are now waiting to see exactly what Minister Hayes will do to ensure the publishing of all the test results, negative and positive.

There is a tremendous need for leadership now from the Minister.

The newest member of the board has a once in a lifetime opportunity to bring her expertise to bear on the Board.

One would assume that Transparency will be to the forefront of the principles that she will bring with her.

With at least one new Board member and a new CEO, it is a critical time for the greyhound Industry.

Lets hope that they grasp the extent of the responsibility that they have taken on.

David, Once Minister Hayes is handed our documents from our petition he will see the massive response in relation to positive samples ,he will have to act in the proper manor and show to us his determination to put this right and give us the answers we deserve .
We need the Full list of positives along with the names of every single person involved. We know who they are and we want to see them Published very soon.

Yes Paul your right there,I will ring him tomorrow and see if he is interested on putting something up.
Paul I was talking to a very respectable gentleman today from Waterford area and it seems that they are having big problems with certain trainer working with manager , he gets away with murder and this cheat has also contested large amount of positives , he don't even have to kennel dogs up ,he leaves them in his van to just before his race, this has been reported and nothing happened ,may be that's why Michael Falvey was down there to keep an eye on him,
This is getting worse by the day.

Another case of this in Kilkenny last night.

Fair dues to stewards last night

Unless we speak up our sport is finised
