control committee at the min are a joke. I was then told to walk him in the car park and I did, still no pee so I said I was going home.I all so offerd a blood sample but this fell on deaf ears.steward on the night (JOHN NOLAN) told my son who was walking the dog for his race that if the dog was walked proper he would pee?????.I have been racing since 2005 and till this day I have never had a positive and NEVER REFUSED to give a sample and just to rub salt in it a big trainer was in before me and walked away scott free.

Des,who was the "big trainer" that had hearing just before you??
Non publication positives is clearly wrong but happened on the night was surely down to a tit of a steward and hardly grounds to lampaste the gb.....

Same as going bankrupt change to another name, an earlier post said this should not be allowed ,they should be banned and the dogs he has in training banned as well ,owners would get fed up when no dogs running and move on ,one way forward , and get rid of the cheats at same time. happy days.

Maybe the IGB could look at implementing this rule quickly , that you cannot change greyhounds in training to a member of family if you have been caught for banned substances ,this would be a very good step forward for the board , and restore some faith.

Yes DAVE,I HAVE SAID THIS BEFORE ALL DOGS IN THAT TRAINERS KENNEL SHOULD BE BANNED FOR SIX MONTHS ,THE OWNERS WILL NOT BE TO HAPPY THEN WILL THEY ,THEN THEY CAN CHANGE THEM TO THE WIFE,DAUGHTER OR SONS NAME, BUT THOSE DOGS NAMED STILL CAN NOT RUN,PROBLEM SOLVED. BUT HAVE THE BOARD THE GUTS TO DO THAT?

Hi John ,the board are in a very bad place at the minute ,and they have to move very carefully on certain issues, this being one of them , but if they were to go down this road it would help their causes no end and you would see a decrease with people leaving the sport ,we as owners and breeders cant change the rules but we can put suggestions to the board for them to look into, they must know and see where the problems lie and its up to them to rectify what is clearly not working , and the quicker they move the better for them.

Dave ,the Board are in a very bad place of there own making and it seems to be getting worse by the day, it is now up to THEM to make the proper changes to our sport or let a new board come in and do what they seem very reluctant to do.ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS AND THAT'S THE PROBLEM THERE HAS BEEN NO ACTION. MOST GREYHOUND PEOPLE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A BOARD TO GET BEHIND, I'M SHURE. DON'T FORGET THEY ARE VERY WELL PAID PEOPLE.THEY HAD NO PROBLEM PRINTING THE NAMES OF THE ORDINARY OWNER TRAINER WITH A FEW DOGS.
