Have been chatting to Ken about a few things. Given the state of play and slowing in breeding we want to offer breeders as much confidence as we can that it is worth breeding. We all know that at the mid to lower end pups are not getting the prices they did 6 months ago.

So we want to make sure that if you us BANJO BOY you use him knowing that you will get enough pups to make it worth while.

Up to know we have offered anyone who uses BANJO BOY their money back or a free return service for two pups or less.

As of now we are going to introduce a second pup guarantee. If your bitch has 3 or 4 pups we will also provide a free frozen only. There will be no money back option on 3 or 4 pups.

We hope that this is seen in the context of how it is intended and that is to give confidence to breeders that you will be guaranteed a good number of pups when you use BANJO BOY.

Thanks to all.

True gentleman of the industry Andrew well done !

I'm exciting to be using Banjo boy hopefully in the next few days to Buxton miss
( kiss me ketut's litter sister ) her dam has thrown some very fast animals so I'm hoping she can throw just as good to your boy.

I have plans in using him on a few other broods as well.

That's positive action for today's market what you guys are doings . Great to see people care about the litter breeders out there.

The 4 litters Ive had of Banjo Boy the tally of pups in total has been 30 ( Litter size 5,6,8,11) Thats an average size of 7.5 pups from the 4 litters Ive had alone up here.

I agree that what Andrews just announced will also continue to ensure that Banjo Boy gets good broodies and people can have confidence to use Banjo Boy.

Ive had Blacks, Black and Whites, Blue Whites , Blues, Ive had no brindles or red fawn much to my wifes Lynises disgust (She loves fawns). Anybody thrown any other colours with Banjo Boy?

Class all Class what more can I say after dealing with Andrew before and after having the worst luck imaginable with the matng i had planned for my Bitch. This is just another example of Andrews confidence in Banjo Boy and should give all greyhound breeders the confidence to use him.

well done to Kevin burns. 2 dogs out of peaceful dove. I thought thommo did a good job getting her in pup. Was a natural Ai and done very late. Prog test was 65 the day prior being done and she was off the next day. So one go only.

I have long held the view that a lot of bitches are being done very early in the cycle hence more bitches. I have a view that later produces more dogs on average. Interesting that the bitches I have had tested and dropped of when we have decided are getting more dogs. Banjo boy x Zoenahs 5 and 4. Mogambo x banjo star 4 and 3. Barcia bale x Zoenahs due next week will be interesting to see.

Then those I have dropped off at vet have had far more bitches than dogs. 1 and 4, 2 and 5 etc.

Any one else share a view on this?

Some sad news amidst the good strong litters. Thommo had his first miss this week. 1 from 52 not bad. Also I believe one breeder lost all their pups and another lost 8 of 9. Will help them out.

Hi Michaele

In the most simplest way my theory is that nature has a way of balancing things out. If a bitch is mated early perhaps nature interprets that as lots of dogs around so produce more bitches. And mated late suggests less dogs around so produce more dogs.

Interesting your experience.

Now before everyone goes nuts with opposite examples I am talking playing the percentages here - not that the opposite never happens.

girl aloud her first litter was to mogambo 3 dogs 6 bitches one of those is zoenah's entity,

her final litter to mogambo (3 weeks old)

6 dogs 2 bitches , different vets , hard to say why , but generally we always have more bitches ,

Michael I suspect you drop your dogs to the vets and let them decide - yes.

My suspicion is that the vets want to get them in and out as quick as possible. As soon as they are ready they are done, at the start of the window of opportunity.

Then they can go home. Maybe I should start another thread on this.....

Been a good week for Thommo with 3 girls inseminated and 2 bitches arriving for naturals.

Getting exciting with his oldest roughly two months away going to the breakers.

How time flies.

A very well bred bitch Andrew, Storm Rush's dam being a full sister to the USA stud dog Soprano Drive.
