Just a wrap for Ken and Andrew Ive never met them personally but Andrew and Ken couldnt do enough for me when I told them I was interested in using Banjo Boy on my proven bitch Oamaru Lass. She was implanted on the 22nd April so its just the waiting game now cant wait to see what sort of puppies these 2 throw. I believe I need some more aggression and chase in my line so Banjo ticked all those boxes and more. Ive seen some pics of him and he looks like and runs like a champion . I m not to sure but I would think that these pups could be the first ones of Banjo Boys on the ground. Heres the testmating Id like to see what peoples thoughts are on this bitch with Banjo Boy. I know one thing they will be good looking pups.

Corey, Best of luck with your Banjo Boy/Oamaru Lass litter, looks a nice mating IMO. Banjo Boy should add strength to the line as you mentioned. I also like the double up of the two great female lines of Bayroad Queen and Waroo Lass. You will probably get plenty of White and Black pups at a guess. Hope all goes well mate. Cheers Bert.

Gday Banjo Boy fans
Maybe Andrew V can answer this question about Banjo Boy.
Hows the straws going , Hows the calibre of Broodies being supplied and what are your thoughts of the first lot of Broodie being inseminated by Banjo Boy?

Hi Corey, A few have asked me the same question. Since starting about 4 weeks ago there have been 12 bitches allocated including 2 of mine which I wish would hurry and come on season. 2 have been done (Stanganui and Oamaroo Lass) and 3 are due to be done this week with others due soon so I am really happy with the start. I can't thank those who considered the dog and who have used him enough. As we all know every bitch we decide to breed with is valuable to those who own him and the cost of breeding and rearing is the same no matter how well bred a dog is on paper. What is interesting is that the bloodlines are so different that have gone to him. We have some bitches who have thrown city winners and who are city winners. Also the people that are using him are experienced and regular breeders which gives me a lot of encouragement. David Brasch's report is a prime example of the breadth of bitches that he suits. Also reasons vary. Some are looking for strength in the sire, he has that as does his family. Others are actually using him for his speed - he has run 22.15 over 400m and 25.46 at Warragul over 460m in trials plus his strength. Both of these are track record times. Not sure how many stud dogs offer that diversity. Will be interesting to see where we are at in 18 months time. Anyway its Sunday and I am waffling.....sorry.

I have been looking for sires that would suit my bitch Gemstar when she finishes racing and I think I found a winner with Banjo Boy with a double cross of Skullring don't think I could go wrong.

By Mogambo too Glenn. Off springer (banjo boys dam) has thrown nothing but super dogs to Mogambo. Good luck with your racing.

Good luck tonight to Andrew and Ken tonight with the Banjo Boy. Its one of the toughest fields ive seen in the dawson for a while. Love to see him fly out the boxes like he did the night he won the group race..

I think he needs to win races like tonight to be considered serious stud material. I'm confident he can do the job tonight

Congratulations to Team Banjo and Banjo Boy winning his heat of the Dawson/ Harrison at Sandown to night. Thought he might find it tough from box 8, but he was simply too fast, and too good. Great win...Best of luck in the Final.
