No brainer mating 9 pups. I am sure the phone will ring. Best given the success of that litter.

He has run quick times at Healesville, sale, Geelong and Warragul. He was the first dog to beat raw ability. He has beaten fast topline dogs and keeps drawing tough boxes.

Yeh he can a little bit tony. Not a boom dog but just a bit better than he might get credit for and has the ability to run a quick first section which over short trips makes him dangerous.

I think he might be looking for the rails a bit too bit in 16 starts has never drawn the 1, has drawn the 2 and 3 only once each as well.

Anyway if he keeps improving who knows.

I will have to go through every litter in breeding and double check but I honestly can't think of any.

I heard Dennis Barnes has used Banjo Boy on one of his good broodies, simply because he is impressed with the Banjo's that have been through Cudal and broke in there.

Thanks for all that info Andrew, I did go through fasttrack and have a look at his serves to date, but is was much easier looking at your data with Grand Sire listed.
Trying to convince the syndicate that banjo boy is the way to go.

Also is Banjo Boy known for upgrading the size of pups, currently have 2 decent sized banjo's, but it was bitches first litter.

Any thoughts on this mating.

I wasn't convinced about the token prince cross as one I thought would naturally work but I do know of four separate litters now with pups around the 14 to 18 month age bracket that have this cross and the pups are well above average at this stage.

I am very hopeful of seeing them in the near future with many being set for grafton, Goulburn and Dapto maiden series.

I know one pup has an offer in excess of 50,000 potentially on his head subject to a trial.

Not sure I have helped but if there were something there that was obviously a watch out I would let you know.

FWIW I would say "Go for it" ...

We have personally used BB over an outcrossed brood, but she also has Token Prince close up behind her on the dam's side. Suffice to say that at this stage ours are all chasing very keenly, and the one that was tested 'against the clock' all concerned were quite pleased with (our pups are now 16 months of age, & would be one of the litters Andrew was referring to).
