Good evening
Today it was brought to my attention that his whereabouts and treatment was targeted by people that I dont know, have never met and have never made or attempted to make contact with me.
Banjo boy is healthy and well. So dont worry. We went through a very through process with a very reputable and professional rehoming organisation who are am incredible group of people.
Tonight I received a draft from them of their version of events which I assure everyone not only met but exceed all expectations of how greyhounds should be treated which I personally take full responsibility for and which, when posted, will put this inuendo to an end.
They will, if they havent already, post this on the site that has posted some mistruths about banjo boy and his treatment.
I have photos of every step of his rehoming process along with written reports summaries and confirmations.
By the way his name is Thommo not Tom. Treat that as an indication of how wrong the allegations presented are.
Best to all as always.
Andrew

Ps: I am a considered person and am not about to join Facebook or respond in inflammatory ways. I will go about my handling of this knowing banjo boy is well, treated like a child and that those trying to create some news out of mistruths is not worth reActing to.

As a mate of Andrew Varasdi when I seen the earlier comments regarding the B.S story about Thommo aka Banjo Boy making the rounds on social media i knew it was complete & utter rubbish , I have seen the photos Andrew was referring to & all I can say is Thommo is in great health & very happy with his owner & is living the sweet life on the central coast.

We all know that Andrew is beyond reproach, but its a shame and a disgraceful situation that a person like the person who made the original post, a known anti-racing afficionado, can pop onto social media and recount a conversation to thousands, possibly millions of people, that is so devoid of fact that AND NOT BE HELD TO ACCOUNT for the damage to the reputation not only of Andrew & Tony themselves but also to the reputation of all greyhound racing participants
This is a sitaution where GRNSW & GWIC should be getting involved to fund a legal action against such a person using social media to perpetrate lies about the sport without a shred of proof
How far do we let something like this go? Whilst it may be christian to turn the other cheek and blessed be the meek and so on, but when this sort of blatantly spiteful publicity is made by a complete nobody with the sole purpose of trying to destroy the good work done so far by our authorities, then its time to fight back.
I am sorry for the unwelcome attention it brings Andrew, but this sort of thing really gets up my nose

Evening all.
Appreciate all the support. As it stands my understanding is the the facts were presented on what really happened and these were as clear as day. They were presented by the third party, not me. As a result the published mistruths have, I believe, been removed.
I am still awaiting an apology for publishing such rubbish and for attempting to discredit my personal and professional reputation and business.
I think I deserve that.
What a crazy day
Stay safe all. Best Andrew

How are Banjo Boy females going at stud?
He looks to have enormous potential as a brood sire...anyone bred to the strengths of Big Flood and Irish wonder dog Pestana yet? He looks that good as a dam sire!

Yes mate, we as Christians are to turn the other cheek.....ONCE
The point of this teaching is that we must allow our oppressors an opportunity to regret what they did, apologize and then we must forgive them. But to allow them to continually strike us on the cheek, one side after the other, is just plain stupid.
So unless this person has regretted their actions and asked for forgiveness, fight back!

Hi Darren
Early days with only a few litters racing but some promising signs. Aston gwen is already a group one winner with others in the litter performing well.
The litter to starlight Jill litter started well and looked promising.
I have a litter Zambora brockie x el rapido and will keep them all - 6 dogs - very happy keen as mustard which might be one of the best traits he throws to his dams. I know Many felt his Pups were over keen. I certainly had a few who were that way and sadly it prevented them realising their Potential.
Not sure how others feel and as I said very early days with oldest not even three I dont think.
Really interested in some Aston see bee litters to his bitches. Sadly showgirl queen missed to Fernando. Was hoping for my Aston gwen or sovereign wind. Just got to wait and try again next season.
