Tommy is now at stud due to doing a stopper bone!

Who would be interested in breeding with Him G1 and G2 winner has a great record!

On breeding alone he should get his fair share of bitches.

As a race dog he will get the numbers. Just a pity he wasn't on the race track long enough to compete interstate to convince any knockers of his ability...

He'll be a hit I'd suggest.

Another well bred dog at stud, with so many dogs like him at stud he has plenty of competition.

Trent id have to disagree he is one of the best bred + performed stud dog by premier fantasy that is Australian (maybe premier baloney being his only competition) so he has a little advantage being that premier fantasy straws are pretty much unavailable.

He chases hard and to be honest race wise i couldn't see many faults to hinder him so i agree with geoff he will get his fair share. Especially if he is offered frozen and natural.

$1100 is fair both frozen and natural and like oaks road he got plenty of bitches at that price and a great opportunity to prove himself.

Good luck to connections.

I never said he was the best mate just think he is in a tuff market with the other three even add jagger swagger in there tuaki prince Diablo and there is a few premier fantasy sired studs to pick from and yes u can still get the dad at a fair price. Was just saying good luck to connections I enjoyed watching him race.

No trent i was saying i think he is the best overall performed and bread combined but premier baloney is the only other that is bred as well.
I dont think his competition is other premier fantasy sons its the over all amount of good young dogs at stud. That was my point of differing view (maybe written the wrong way) but i agree in such a competitive stud market he should be priced right.

Hi Jeff

It's a real shame as he has been cut down arguably before reaching his prime and had done so much already

His dominant early speed and outstanding chase will be a big plus for him that will attract breeders

It is a trait of many Premier Fantasy dogs that have gone to stud like Hurricane Luke, Fear Zafonic, Jagger Swagger, Premier Style, your own dog Leeroy Rocker

Breeders are getting spoilt for choice with sons of Premier Fantasy with Tuiaki doing reasonably well, Prince Diablo (closely related to Tommy Brislane), Hutmaker a proven sire of city class dogs, and then other sons like Premier Boloney and Shifty Sticka and possibly even Innocent Til, all from different damlines

You can only judge the dog with what you have seen with your own eyes and from what I have witnessed from him, I would like a dozen like him.

If he stays reasonably priced he should attract his share of bitches for sure

Super dog.................

How good is 'Premier Fantasy' with the Bruce Fletcher damline of 'Lauren's Desire' !!!!

'Prince Diablo', Tuiaki' and now 'Tommy Brislane'..........??

Then you can throw in 'Hurricane Luke'...........who's damline (Metal Springs) is a very close rel to 'Lauren's Desire'......

Then you can throw in 'Leeroy Rocker/Premier Boloney'........both damlines (National Dingaan) are yet more close rels of 'Lauren's Desire'......

Bit of a longer stretch and 'Premier Style's dam carries this same theme too........if a different way.

That's a theme for mine.......

Sandro (and others): Thanks for the kind words about Tommy. We've all been overwhelmed by the messages from all over. He was surely much loved by followers and punters alike!
We're all still shattered that he may not be able to race on. As you note, he has been cut down before reaching his prime, and stopper bones are difficult to control.
His win in the Dapto Megastar was one of the most emotional moments of my life, having purchased the mother, bred the litter, named him after a much loved uncle, and watched as Steve White nurtured him through to Group 1 success.
All you ask for in this business is honesty, and strength, and Tommy had both, PLUS that wonderful power in the first split.
I'm trying to think this is the start of a new period of fun, but I still can't help feeling "what if?".
His early trials in Victoria (including that fateful day at The Meadows) showed us that he was in the same super form and fitness and chase he showed at WP. His chase cost him in the end, crashing into the arm at close to full speed.
He's a beautiful specimen, as you can see from his pix. I hope he can throw his best attributes to another generation: speed and power and honesty.
And, it's not all over yet: with the right amount of care and love, and more care, we think (hope) he'll be able to race again. Let's hope so.
In the meantime, to try to ease the pain, I've given him is own Twitter account (@TommyBrislane) !! Followers welcome.

Do you feel this theme could continue with a dog like Paradise Madison, a close relative of Premier Fantasy?

Wade,

'Paradise Madison' is roughly bred 50/50 ..........like all the 'Premier Fantasy' sons mentioned above........so I suppose you could say he's similarly bred to them.......sort of.

If you took any of the mothers of the 'Premier Fantasy' sons...........and mated them directly to 'Paradise Madison'........they aren't similar to the 'Premier Fantasy' matings.........so no for me........even though the damlines of each are similar to a degree.

Here's 'Madison' mated to the 'Fantasy' pedigree......

CLICK HERE

.......'Headbound' changes it all.

Actually, if 'White Hill' was young enough, it'd be a good gamble..........so daughters of 'Premier Fantasy' with the right damlines could be great with 'Madison' you'd think.

Maybe like this...........

CLICK HERE

......and bitches with 'Spiral Nikita' in them too could/should strike up a good linebreeding cord in matings with 'Madison'...........and there are plenty of them around here nowadays..........

Quicker 'Paradise Madison' frozen gets here to Oz the better..........freakish dog that bloke.......and over a few distances.

Yes, I used the term 'close relative' too loosely. Cheers for the reply.
