Herstal breaks 9 year old 770 Track Record!

Fastest of all time! That has a nice ring to it. Wouldnt you love to say someday that you were the best of all time at something? Well after Saturday evenings 15th race, Herstal, from Clear Lake Racing, can now make that claim.

Breaking from the 7 box over the 770 yard course, she wasted no time outrushing all of the competitors to the turn and taking over command of this race. By the finish line the first time around she had already stole a couple of lengths on the rest of the field and it was going to get worse for them before it got better. Drawing off with every stride she took, she hurried the bunny away from the rest of the field and frankly made it a one greyhound race. He only competitor by the stretch was the clock as she was 5 lengths clear of the rest as she turned for home all alone. Not done yet, she dug in ever deeper and stretched the margin to 6 lengths at the finish line. When the dust settled from her contrail, she looked up at the time and realized that she had just made history. Stopping it at 43.22 seconds, she put her name in the record books as she squeaked past the previous time of 43.27 seconds that was set by Gils Cuero in march of 2007.

Congratulations head out to her owners, Bob Hardison and Hamilton, her trainer Jim Rae, Clear Lake Racing, and everyone else connected with this fantastic greyhound. Heres too many more quick trips around the oval, and we will have to keep an eye out to see just how long her 15 minutes of fame lasts.

Mark i think we are going to see an explosion of very fast Pups very shortly and i cannot wait to see what kind of sons and daughter he will produce .

I am tipping he will throw typical of himself and deliver us some very special Greyhounds dogs and bitches in Australia and it will be great to see his legacy live on in Australian lines now .

Kiowa Mon Manny has had the luxury of the best bitches in Australia.
so that in itselfs is a huge advantage over other first season Sire's so that helps a hell of a lot .

Very Early days yet Wade ...

I cannot give to much away but i would be watching the first starters at the tracks around NSW and Vic over the coming months ........

I don't need to pump Manny up and he will throw some of the fastest Greyhounds to grace our tracks but then i would say that about all my dogs...

Two years time we can say if he will have a dominant impression on our bloodlines or not and that also applies to all the first season sires ...

MYSTERIZE

EXTERNAL LINK First winner at The Meadows for Kiowa Mon Manny

Don't take my word for it..

Have a chat to the many Top breeders who have so far used KIOWA MON MANNY ..

Manny is a SIRE OF SIRES .....
Manny is now becoming well known as a Brood Bitch Sire .

Limited supply .......

PS
Wade.... i hope you followed my advice and seen this Boy in at The Meadows .....
I don't like putting the MOZZ on other trainers dogs but it is hard at times when you know some people have some of the fastest pups they have owned and trained .....All I can say is ...Keep an eye out for the Manny PUPS because some are running times unheard of for such young dogs ......

Big Kev is Excited and the head will explode for sure this year Wade ...

Quote of the day ....

Mysterize was very impressive at The Meadows on Wednesday - he is a very promising pup. Hopefully he doesn't go quite as well in the Final next Saturday as I have one in against him. Haha.

All the best with Kiowa Mon Manny.

If the US sire standings were structured to include earnings per start, I think Manny would be far ahead of all of them. He has nowhere near the breedings of sires who are heavily promoted and standing with the major stud operations, yet he has produced quality time and again, and arguably, the 2 best greyhounds to come along in a while, and who have each completely dominated the competition at two of the most upper echelon venues.

Derby Lanes top dog isnt showing any signs of aging as the sturdy Venus Espinosa (Kiowa Mon Manny x Sol Venus) collected a 66th career win on June 19.
He is the best greyhound I have ever owned, boasted Vincent Savill of his 76-pound male at the NGA Spring meet. Savill co-owns Espinosa with Kay Smith. The star sprinter for Savills Patriot kennel continues to score victories over impressive pups. His career mark was also a 20th win this year from 42 starts. Espinosas victory was impressive over the top grade Musket Man (Hambleton) and Weaver stakes finalist Citizens Arrest (DArcy).
Venus Espinosa has held the top spot for nearly a year at Derby Lane, which is rare for a greyhound to hold that position for that long at any track. He (Espinosa) gives it everything hes got when hes out there, said trainer Cal Holland, Jr. Hes awesome!
Kiowa Mon Manny Date of birth 18 SEP 2002 alive and kicking

4 sons at stud on the present list
AMF Ex President...All American
SH Avatar......All American
Bella Infared......All American
Venus Espinosa...All American

Considering the great quality of sires that collision and where's pedro are when you compare stats KMM it is freaky.
Kiowa Mon Manny 2971 off spring 14 percent major races 3279 points
Collision 4339 off spring 11 percent major races 3126 points
Where's pedro 3762 off spring 10 percent major races 3071 points

Kiowa Mon Manny raced with distinction at 5 different tracks, 4 of them top venues, (winning the Southland Derby in the process). So he is in a class by himself in that regard. He was a high paced sprinter, who, at stud, has shown the capacity to throw more versatile types, and arguably, in the case of his 2 sons, SH Avatar and Bella Infrared,

KIOWA MON MANNY NOW IN AUSTRALIA .....It is sitting in customs ..LOL

Interested in peoples view on temperament of pups and type he throws looking at KMM for our bitches next litter just waiting to see if she's continuing to throw strength like her mother has. First litter was to Faberge breaking in now.
Ive seen two litters all plenty of leg tall lean very fiery types, I did have a chat with you Kev before finally going with BB last time but definitely going outcross sire next

Colin I can't really comment on temperament because you can't judge that in 30mins. But I saw three litters of his pups at a place today that I would rate as one of the best greyhound rearing environments I have seen.

They are very nice types. Very forward physically at various ages and extremely good movers.

Hi Sandro,
What's to like about this mating? Is it crosses and nicks? Or does he compliment her racing style? I only ask as we have the litter sister to Rosey.

Mark

The answer is based on the nicks in the pedigree and lies in the pedigree of Bella Infrared

His dam is by a sire from the Chariot Supreme sireline establishing an important link to Australian lines and his dam line contains Molotov

Your bitch has 3 crosses of Chariot Supreme and 2 crosses of Molotov

It's in no way conclusive or guaranteed, but its as good a bet as you can get IMHO

Thanks for the reply Sandro, that gives us something to think about when she retires. We have sent the same dam line to another of Kevin's US sires, we will know soon enough if that mating was successful, and if it works, we might have to continue that theme.

I look forward to seeing these Kiowa Mon Manny Youngsters start racing and without a word of a lie I have had reports of his pups running race winning times first and second times they have stepped out on a race track under trial conditions .

Kiowa Mon Manny is a Sire with the ability to upgrade any damline and his greatest asset is he can throw to a wide variety of bloodlines .
We have all seen imports over the years come and go but the reason why Kiowa Mon Manny will succeed like no other USA sire has before is because his BROODS that have visited him are some of the very best from breeders who are the best breeders and rearers in the Country .

If i could of had 20% of the bitches Manny has had and could spread them over my other sires Paddy Whacker Sure As Blazin Wildfire then we would all be seeing a way different results .

Kiowa Mon Manny did it the hard way and he deserves the very best broods in Australia because he simply is the best sire in the USA today who can throw Sires themselfs and he carries one of the most influential sire lines in the US today

Kiowa Mon Manny will leave a multitude of Son's who will also stand at stud in Australia over the coming years .....Exciting times ahead thats for sure ....

I have limited Vials for sale .FOR BITCHES ON SEASON ONLY ....I am not selling many more vials of Kiowa Mon Manny and if people can grab a bargain still from the bargain man himself in NSW then i would suggest grabbing them because it could be a very cheap investment for the smart buyer ....

Lov yah your work JL

PS
What i am hearing so far from breeders ..

Temperament ..Conformation .Natural Chase .Attitude and many seem to be very balanced types and he don't seem to throw too many over the top types as well but they are very aggressive on anything moving .....Nice leg and nice size dogs and bitches ....
These are
