Hi all,

Just wanted to pop in show my face. Great thread about all of Girl Aloud's progeny. She has done fantastically well and now her daughters progeny hitting the track its very exciting.

I have recently purchased Alice's Entity (Fabregas x Girl Aloud) Had her first start for Tony for us 2 weeks ago and ran BON 30.09. She has improved 10 fold since moving to SA and Tony has big plans for her shortly, with VIC well and truely on the cards. So hoping she can keep exceeding expectations!

Thanks guys. Very happy with her last run.

She is in again Thursday at APK, race 1, box 8. Expecting another strong win hopefully.

Am very new to the whole breeding side of things, and not much experience. I am considering breeding Alice further down the track if she can pick up a few city wins.

Any recommendations of Sires? and what I should look for?

hi sam.. looking forward with rules and regulations that are now in place ,,

the only people that should be offering breeding advise ,, is reputable breakin establishments ,, forget the pay for comment you now see on this forum ,,

i have five going to the breakers in a few weeks ,, spoke to the breaker ,, and asked the usual question ,, whats sires are giving you less grief ,,

the ones he told me , very few get a mention on here , when people ask advise on breeding

Its not all about the sires.
Sires get the blame for everything.

Sam, I feel you are in a place that every breeder would like to find themselves in... Your bitches imediate line has,,, over the past 18 months, been put to a dozen or so top line (and a few under line) sires. My suggestion would be to sit back and wait and see what happens over the next 12 months or so and look at the best performing sire that has "clicked" with "Girl Aloud's" girls.
The difference in sire / stud costs could vary $500 - $10,000

Sit back, enjoy the ride and wait a while would be my suggestion.

Rich.

If the pups are not "reared and handled right" the best sire on the Planet won't help them.

Thanks Richard, very much agree. Deffinitely wont look to breed her for another 12months or so, think she has plenty of untapped potential and could be the best in the Fabregas litter. Time will tell.

Will be keeping a keen eye the other sires and see how they help improve the line.

And I know Sires are not be all end all but helps to find a good match. I always make sure my dogs are reared and broken in well, so that they have every possible. Hopefully an exciting 12months for her!

We actually bought her after her 2nd at Angle Park, so 2 from 2 wins for us with a 9L and 6L win, so very happy and so is the trainer. She just keeps improving!

Terrific run home for little experience. Well done to the Jury's. (I will let "Zoe" know another one of her kids looks the goods...)
She can obviously throw some strength into her pups. Will be interesting times ahead for Zoenah's Entity (and Girl Aloud)with many more of her pups not far off.
* The sires race is on...
