That's true, but if we all pull out of breeding and racing then it's a self fulfilling prophecy

i with u sandro. breed on i say

michael, breeding is a very risky business at the best of times ,, when you factor in uncertainty, its just one too many risks for a lot of breeders, we need direction, and we need it NOW

mick if u breed what works through out the world, it take away a lot of risks and i bet paw sitting back with a smile on his face, no dont breed, i fill the races up, in two years time.

Michael I think you may find that a lot of the big breeders have the hand brake on as we'll at this time of uncertainly , I didn't say I'm not breeding , but I'm being very weary

dont be weary mick the industry or sport of greyhounds will keep turning over millions here in vic. we as owners and trainers should be seeing charity to support them, like heart foundation, make a wish foundation, what better way to get good publicity. forming syndicate with win news seven news ten news and the project
.

I heard today that girl aloud has had a repeat mating to Mogambo.
What are peoples thoughts on repeat matings? Yes or no?
Also what an amazing broody she has been. I've watched the litters she's had very closely after owning a boy from girl aloud x Mogambo 1st litter. Think that litter won around 250,000... Be interesting to compare this repeat mating..

Has been a high quality brood that's for sure but not a big fan of repeat matings and doubt there will be one as good if not better than any in the first litter.

repeat matings for us, is something new we haven't done it before,

but i have spent a lot of time reading about some of the failures/and success ,

so we decided its worth a shot , leading vic breeder len jones article was the decider,,

girl aloud has been a terrific brood , she has now produced 97 winners, city and group contenders ,,

this mating , regardless of the outcome will be her last , its now time for her daughters to pick up where she has left off ,

the daughters we have sold , some have pups already, some in the process, all to top class sires ,

the daughter we have kept MARLEY GIRL , her self a multiple city winner,

ironically, she came in season today , all being well will be mated to CLICK HERE

the result of the mating was 8 pups time will time how it all goes, either way she is now retired to the couch

Hey Mick

Unreal news today. Zoenah's Entity has whelped a litter of 9 pups to Barcia Bale.

Mate love your line and the good thing is everyone loves the bitches for obvious reasons. Will sell a couple.

All pups over 500 grams and big long healthy animals.

Hope they grow like her first litter to Banjo Boy. They look awesome.

Thanks again mate for selling her to me....couldn;t be happpier.

well done andrew, lovely big litter , all the daughters so far are like mum, and have produced good sized litters,

zoenah was herself a lovely sized bitch with a great temperament, and there's no reason why her offspring shouldnt do well on the track ,, im patiently waiting to see her first litter hit the race track

My girl is an outstanding type (as you know Andrew! Haha), can't wait for her to get to an age where we can see what she's capable of. Hoping she'll turn out a nice race bitch and future brood for us to complement our current lines.

What an amazing broody this girl is. Looked up her stats lastnight. Thrown well over 100 winners ( mostly in Melb ) 42% of her pups have raced in feature and or group races. She produces very fast strong dogs who all seem to run 5-600m.
Alex cracked a new PB lastnight for top SAtrainer Ben Rawlings running 29.65 on a slow track at apk over 515. And acc to trainer he has a lot more to still give. Well done to Maureen and mick on such an amazing broody who just keeps on producing stars. Her stats are as good as any broody I've seen.

Girl Aloud pups are my favourite to watch and yes what a terrific run last night by Alex's Entity. You know when you watch one of her pups that you are going to get 100% chase and consistency. Amazing blood lines!

Well it looks to of been a good week for Girl Aloud!
She had 2 city starters for 2 city wins. Alarm bells won a heat of the bundy cup and roscoes entity lost in a photo for his 1st start in WA for new trainer. I follow her pups closely as love the breeding and she doesnt seem to throw a bad pup. What are people's thoughts ? Is it all cos of the bitch? Or breeder is choosing the right sires? Or both?
Her record as a broody is amazing.
