He is punching well above his weight considering the amount of services he's had. Done a lot more with the opportunity he's being given then a few other overrated sires

I'm actually a little bit surprised that with the popularity of Feral Franky that other collision sons like Hostile and Mister Twister aren't receiving a little more attention

The pedigree of Hostile Savage CLICK HERE is extremely interesting from a Light of Fire perspective in that he continually presents himself at very high percentages through different individuals a number of different ways:

(i) in the top and bottom line breeding pattern at 100% intensity through littermates Awesome Assassin and the 'legless' Goddess of Fire within 5 generations and;

(ii) CLICK HERE here thru different individuals within 5 generations, Light of Fires pedigree is saturated at approx 94% by New Tears, Chariot Supreme, Temlee and Princess Diro (check blood quota table below the pedigree), cross-duplicated in Hostiles dam Restless Style's pedigree and;

(iii)[A] CLICK HERE once again thru different individuals within 5 generations, Light of Fires pedigree is saturated at approx 94% by New Tears, Chariot Supreme, Temlee and Princess Diro cross-duplicated in Brett Lee's dam Sobbing Sal's pedigree ;

(iii)[B] also the reverse is applicable here where Sobbing Sal carries individuals New Tears, Chariot Supreme, Second Stage and Princess Diro in her pedigree within 5 generations that are cross duplicated at a very high 88% in Light of Fire's pedigree....so every time Brett Lee appears in a pedigree within 5 generations Light of Fire is reintroduced through Brett Lee's dam Sobbing Sal at a very high percentage and ;

(iv) Hostile Savage's dam sires dam Viva Odessa carries individuals Pretty Short, Temlee, Chariot Supreme & Shining Light in her pedigree that are also cross duplicated at a very high 88% in Light of Fires pedigree CLICK HERE

So there's 5 ways here off the top of my head that Light of Fire reinvents himself through different individuals in this pedigree all within 5 generations.

It was put to me in no uncertain terms only a couple of days ago that 'I have an obsession with the Light of Fire strain which has produced average percentages'......well this I believe is actual evidence of those breeding theories coming to fruition. No obsession if you can prove it on paper 'factually' as in this case. Don't get too involved with just the name Light of Fire appearing in pedigrees to add value, the key is how he exerts his influence and reinvents himself through different individuals in modern day pedigrees in the 5 instances I've shown above with this pedigree.

Hopefully Light of Fire has exerted enough of his influence and created enough intensity in this mating to see this Hostile dog/litter go a very long way. If the dog doesn't it certainly wont be for a lack of Light of Fire's efforts with this pedigree and even more importantly the breeder has learnt a great deal about future matings for this bitch and the line.

HOSTILE SAVAGE blows them away over 600m at the Meadows.
Late bloomer it seems.

This dog/sire might have been the one that got away. Gee he throws a nice pup. Like his close relation High Earner he was a great chaser who reproduces that valuable trait in his progeny. His percentages are outstanding from limited opportunities.
