What's his stud price at the moment? dare say there wouldn't be many left. If still in Australia fee would have to be up there with Barcia Bale's asking price but that's just a stab in the dark and hind sights a wonderful thing our loss in China's gain.....

Around 10 gran to those in the know bitches in season only

A lot of money imo. Your only paying around $5k Barcia bale, $5-6k Kinloch and $4-5k for Fernando.

$10k is a lot of money when you consider class dogs like Ultimate Magic and Sulzanti (both sons of Magic Sprite and from outstanding bloodlines) are available for less than 1/10 of the price. Yes they are yet to be proven, but there is no reason why they wouldn't be huge successes like BMO if afforded the opportunities.

Yes $10k is a price gouge. There are sons of BMO like Lightning Frank for $1650. It's a lot of money to pay if you only get a couple of pups or the cross doesn't click.

No stud dog is worth $10k in this environment

Good producing bitches are worth their weight in gold

He couldn't have been to special owners sold him pretty quick. Not sure what he sold for but he could have earned them a hell of a lot of money. The top tier stud dogs still make good money even with the breeding numbers down.

You can still get straws for his sire Magic Sprite at no more than 3K.

There was a lot going on at that time Michael as you would remember. A lot of uncertainty. A lot of breeders saying they would not breed again publicly. Hence the shortage today.

So it should be no surprise to anyone that many people who were offered significant money took it with so much uncertainty and such a lack of confidence around.

You were one so it staggers me that you are now saying the people were impatient or greedy. Or do you forget all your posts.

Incredible thing for you to say. You contributed to the lack of confidence and encouraged it.

Thatís the world. Decisions get made every day based on needs and weighing up options.
