Hi Mick.

El Galo bitches imo are hidden gems. For example so far they have competed in 46 Group finals & won 12. That's 1 in 4 finals (or 25%) they win.

El Galo bitches that have had litters to Kinloch Brae have produced zero city winners & zero Group starters.

There has been 4 & they are displayed below along with their whelping dates. 2 litters have yet to race.

Cheers Steve

To Barcia Bale there has been 6 litters with 3 at racing age.

7 city winners have come from the "Lucky Star" litter with Dogmatic the best.

31/7/2017 Poker Boys

Hard to go past Barica tbh.

The Halluciante/Where's pedro cross goes well and has been the link in a lot of barcia top offspring and Barcia to this line has produced billys bake as you know so thats an added bonus.

I haven't had a close look at any of the match ups, but imo it has to be between Fabregas, Spring Gun, Spud Regis and Kilty Lad.

hi steve, thanks for that info , its really terrific the stats you keep ,,
so going on those figures using kinloch would be pushing S..t up a hill , so ill disregard him ,,
whats your thoughts on a best match for her ?

I was just going off el galo's top 10 as a damsire. I discounted Goodesy because he's by Collision, Spiral Nakita because your broodie carries him a few lines back and Razldazl Jayfkay because he's by Kinloch brae.

I personally don't like Spring Gun or Fabregas, don't know too much about Spud Regis and can't say much more about Kilty Lad than I know he throws pure chase and he was unlucky not to have a couple more top shelfers.

thanks matt, i do have to use a commercial type sire , as any more than four pups we would have to sell them , and as we all know selling pups isnt that easy in todays market

Thx Mick.
Regarding KB what I've stated maybe fact but who knows. Your rearing practices could all be the difference. If you like it go for it.

What are my thoughts on a best match for her?

I know you want a commercial sire but talking pedigree, I like this bloke. I've looked at him across my El Galo bitch & would have used him by now as Westy knows, but I had to use all my FS due to the knife in the back the industry copped 3 years ago.
This bloke is 3/4 outcross but also brings in another cross of Brett Lee on the sireline.
He's also inbred to Flying Penske's dam She's a Natural, so should add strength.
He also brings in another cross of Lemon Soda thru Skelligs Tiger "IN X", to add to the other 2 litter brothers in Lolas pedigree, Curryhill Brute & Fox...who are also "IN X" too. That bit sells him when mixed with what I've stated. There's also another cross of Westmead Satin, another legend of a bitch but it's not in x.
And the dog could run. He hasn't had a chance at stud due to the circumstances I mentioned above which is a real shame, as he deserves a start. He's really only got 9 litters at race age but I do see there are another 20 litters that are 18 months or less coming thru, so we may see something soon.

Heres the match up ---> CLICK HERE

If the industry picks up in 18 months, I'll be using him on Snowy for the same reasons ---> CLICK HERE
Good luck m8 ;-)

I know it goes against your theory of sires having to be proven or popular, but I like:
