Hello Deejay is making a very decent start to stud while currently only having 19 offspring listed on GD.
EXTERNAL LINK His first litter included Budgie Bypass, Champion stakes runner up. Designer Cee is looking potentially top class with a pre Puppy Derby trial of 28.42 round Wimbledon
EXTERNAL LINK and the total domination of the Bags T/C Youngsters race at Sittingbourne on Thursday
However from 69 races Hello Deejay only achieved a top GD rating of 97, so why did he get used initially? Obviously he offers an alternative to the currently popular lines, EXTERNAL LINK but was that enough to chance a mating? It would be interesting to know the story

Brinkleys Poet broke the Crayford 380m track record yesterday, having already broken the Kinsley 462m track record in winning the final of the Betfred Gymcrack. He was also 3rd in the final of what is looking a top Ladbrokes Puppy Derby, behind Rising Brandy and Droopys Verve.
In checking out his breeding I noticed that his damsire was Hello Deejay and it reminded me of this thread.
According to GD Hello Deejay now has a total of 28 offspring, of which 7 are rated 100 and above.
CLICK HERE He also has 13 2nd generation offspring from 2 broods whelped Feb 2016 and May 2016, 3 of which are already rated at 100 or above including the above mentioned Brinkleys Poet.
CLICK HERE This seems to me a fantastic return for an unpublicised stud dog.
