The GRANSW computer or it's operators need REBOOTING. The computer is incompetent or corrupt. How does the computer give box 1 to dogs that have had it several times and dogs in the same race that have never had it don't get drawn in it? Why because it is incompetent or corrupt. The industry they want is coming. A handful of breeders and a handful of trainers. Then collusion will be rife.
"Then collusion will be rife."
Are you telling me it isn't at the moment George?

A computer programmer pointed out to me once that it's not "logical for a computer" to do something randomly...........it was fascinating listening to him talk on the subject, sounded quite complex, but at the end of the day he cldn't believe this system was in place for this purpose.

Ryan, I suggest your mate may be working in the big time field. And his comment is really off topic anyway.
The prospect of a bias in joining 8 dogs with 8 boxes has to be slim to none. There are just not enough variables in the equation. More likely would be a bias in shaking up 8 marbles in a box.
Selecting the 8 runners in the first place is a different question altogether given all the peculiar rules in place.
The laws of probability do not support all the moans and groans in other posts here (although the guarding issue has merit). Suck it up fellas. It happens.
I recall the time when Mystery Idle got 1 after 1 after 1 forever at Wenty and Bulli. Such is life.
After 20 heads, what are the odds of the next one being a tail? Still 50%.

Why is his comment off topic?? he is referring to a computer system being incapable of drawing numbers randomly, the same computer system we are still using. Not off topic at all! What are the odds of drawing box 1 in a full field once, well its 8-1. Twice in a row 64-1, three times in a row 512-1, 4 times in a row 4096-1, 5 times in a row 32,768-1, 6 times in a tow 262,144-1..So don't give me this rubbish that getting box 1 over and over again is just purely random. We are not talking about coin flip odds here
