If it was to make up the numbers for another dog to trial then i feel its a poor choice. If the dogs gonna be put in to race again its a disgrace!

I have always been strong supporter of veterans' races but this is ridiculous. 23.40 will not run a place in anything, never mind the sort of grading she will cop. The only thing it promises is that she will get knocked around.
Others in the trial do not bear thinking about. 23.70-plus?????
It may be that 5.0 or 5.5 years is about it for official racing.

Agree. 5.5yrs however I have seen dogs win up to 6 years of age but I would think that would have to be the ultimate limit

The bit that worries me is not the 7 years, its the 3.5 years in between races.
