That's what you want. Always good when you have young pups that just have it in them

Hi George

It was definitely touch and go for a while

Sandro, it was for my lad too but I'm delighted to say he was back to the track - and winning - just 10 weeks after the surgery. The vet who operated on him can't believe it!

As for ZZB I like him a lot, would be great to get some straws over here. I have a nice young dog out of what I think might be the only Knocka Norris bitch in Ireland - he's big and fast but has absolutely zero track craft to date! Hopefully he will wise up a bit.

Latest mating for Zinzan Brooke CLICK HERE I believe the mating was done by Gordon Herbert with his prize from the 2018 G-Data tipping competition. Best of Luck Gordon.

Good choice. I know he's only had a few litters but I know for a fact they can't be faulted and the owners are wrapped

From what I've seen, this litter has the highest natural chase instinct of the 6 litters we've bred.
Was planning on selling them all but it looks like we're keeping 3.....
Yes we are rapt.....

WOW Jamie that's a ripper mating in that you've exposed New Tears damline again CLICK HERE (princess diro is also duplicated refer blood quota table below), maintaining the integrity of that Light of Fire niche you had with Cape Hawke CLICK HERE and Reeta's litter and moving away from that traditional LOF niche.

It is one gen futher down the damline as Gable Lafourche doesn't influence the niche but that's extremely impressive breeding!

That's twice now with two different sires, really well done, you've given that bitch a great chance to become a decent brood, and that's all any breeder can really do. The rest is up to her and in the lap of the breeding gods. Wow!

And Zinzan Brooke sires his first winner La Gypsy Belle who won at her debut at Cannington tonight in a solid 22.25 showing brilliant early pace and hard chase

Congrats Jamie and connections of La Gypsy Belle

He's another one of those amazing race dogs that wont get used much. I'd use him again no doubt.
Good to see the little girl win first up.
Great job Greg.

That you would use him again is one of the more glowing endorsements you can give a sire

Most sires once is more than enough for most people. Whether it be their behavior in rearing paddock, behavior in shed, size, temperament, chase or ability. The fact you're happy with all of that is a great advertisement for Zinzan Brooke

Purely based on the first 4 months when they were with us, and the phone calls with Greg who says she is so switched on and relaxed.
We've actually got a bitch on day 2 now.
Seriously thinking about him.

La Gypsy Belle's brother 'Big Boy Brooke' debured with a good 2nd placing in a heat of the GRV Vic Breeders Maiden from Box 6

Ran home 1n 18.90 which was equal 2nd best of the finalists and ran on strongly when he balanced up in the straight after being checked twice around the circle.

I hear he has been the subject of some pretty decent offers following that run

I was at the track last night.
This pup is a magnificent looking animal. And I'm hearing they are very switched on and relaxed dogs, easy to work with.

I'll be getting my bitch implanted next week.

All the pups I have seen are very correct in conformation and are pretty easy to work with

Here's your mating Jamie, interesting to see the bottom line with Kiowa Sweet Trey to tap into Gable Dodge lines

Its been a big couple of weeks for Zinzan Brooke's progeny over the last couple of weeks

Ha has had only about 7 litters racing over the last 12 months

Yesterday Burnt Briar won the time-honoured Bob Vernon Memorial Maiden at Capalaba, a race also won by Zinzan Brooke

Zinzan Brooke had 3 runners in the Final including Rush (litter brother to Burnt Briar) and Alpha Zap who finished 3rd in the final

Both of the latter won their respective heats of the race last week

https:/ CLICK HERE
https:/ CLICK HERE
Litter mate to Alpha Zap - Nine Nine trained by James Shaw, recorded the sires first main night city winner at The Meadows last week running the 525m in a respectable 30.25 leading all the way

https:/ CLICK HERE
Miss Fleur, another litter mate also won her maiden over 520m last week at lbion Park

Another sister Crabby Yabby. also trained by James Shaw, won her maiden over 385m at Shepparton in a fast 21.74

Big Boy Brooke has carried on his great form for his new trainer Deb Carr by winning his heat of The Great Chase at Horsham last week

https:/ CLICK HERE
The litter out of Rockstar Swirl has also been getting some nice winners of late including Raglan Cobra for Michael Curtale, Rockstar Colada for Sean Evans and Tongue Tied for Ricky Brewer

There are some new litters about to start racing and hearing some nice things about them as well
