Does anyone know of any 40kg + greyhounds in Australia that are racing?

I had a Where's Pedro black dog who only had 6 starts before being killed in an accident on our property. He raced about 4 years ago. He got to around 43 kgs just before break in. Once in full work he came down a few kgs but still raced at 39-40 kgs.

Sorry to hear about that. I love watching the real big dogs go round or up the straight tracks. I think El Grand Senor may have been 40kg ?

Not racing now but many years ago I had a dog, King Turtle, who raced at anywhere between 39 & 40.5kgs, winning races at over 40kg. Was pretty handy too, winning at the old Bulli track in 25.03 which was humming in those days, amongst other wins.

Bean Stalker was huge. If you go on the dogs site and look him up you can see his race weights. As high as 43.6 if i remember correctly.
