It is interesting reading some of the post to this thread. I will say I do agree with Carol, as some suppressants I've seen can give a bitch more of a stiff upper lip. The question of "Breeding with a bitch that has fought" could have different answers all day long. In the end, your answer lies in , like the old saying. It like trying to find the tree for the forest. There will be many things that will come into play. suppressants, bloodlines, INVIROMENT, introduction to the track, and training When choosing a bitch, its your responsibility to know as much as you can, on not only the bloodlines, but its past environment, and the possibility of the studs you intend to use. There's always a chance of a fluky nick, that will give you what you want. But, your best practice will be to line up as best as you can, with what your bitch may be lacking. I have had more success breeding bitches that carried a meaner demeanor. Its probably the kind of bitch I would seek out. With that kind of bitch, you may want to be very selective with the stud. You may be able to go overboard on the aggressiveness.

Yeah Shakey Jakey's are known for it.
If you not planning on selling any and know she could run you should be right if you go to a sire that's known for his relaxed attitude. because of the added outcross to dilute the bloodlines id be going with CLICK HERE Or a sire that's known for chase like CLICK HERECLICK HERE
Can someone confirm if this is fact or fiction. Is Shakey Jakey actually throwing a disproportionate number of fighters? Thanks.

it all comes down to peoples personal experiences. some people have had luck with his pups and probably love him as a sire. But if you ask me the overall proportion of fighters/dogs that don't chase is incredibly high. it's not just shakey jakey that hasn't got a great name though. there are plenty of top sires that look good because of a few good pups but in reality if you ask the overall they're duds.

Thanks Matt I've resorted to going through litter by litter on GRV FastTrack and checking each racer under 'Racing Offences'. I'm making an assumption that 'unnamed' 2014 whelps wouldn't have made it to or beyond the breakers?
