EXTERNAL LINK (Approx 34th minute on...)

I thought this deserved it's own thread.

This is exactly what the industry needs to do and that is to get the word out to the MAIN MEDIA of what the industry is going through, and we need to do this CONTINUOUSLY!!!

Rob, you are an absolute bloody CHAMPION mate.
I hope you find a way to stay in this industry because it is people like YOU that will give it a slim chance to survive, along with the champion Miranda Devine.

Where is the industry's representative support?
Why are they not doing what a PARTICIPANT like Rob Ingram is doing?

Rob, you deserve a medal...YOU are what the industry should stand for.

Well done Rob.
The passion is still there but the flame has gone out.

It's the same old story with most that have enjoyed this industry for generations before the do-gooder stepped in & over-regulated it to death.

When we're gone & have nothing left to do, we'll have our revenge.

It certainly does deserve it's own thread Michael.
Maybe we can all get behind you Rob by getting a
petition together to support your Narrabri proposal &
send it to GRNSW with copies to Miranda Devine at the
Daily Telegraph, your supportive Council,The NSW Minister
for Sport & your local Member etc.
Does anyone know the routine to get a petition started.
I would be prepared to give my time & energy to drive or
help drive it.
Stay with us Rob.

Thanks for your support. I have been working hard behind the scenes for a couple of years now. I am currently weighting up my options for the information I have gathered.
One thing we can all do is forward any stories to Miranda. Don't hit her with sh$t that belongs in school yards. Keep it personal and factual. In my view we need to get our major issues back into mainstream media, public support will make changes.

On another thought just sitting here thinking, why couldn't GBOTA run a rehoming facility. They have assets, cash at hand, and staff at hand. If they are in for the long haul this would be a logical step forward. Would need to be subsidies by grnsw.

The reason I am have a passion for better rehoming is why isn't the last 3 months of a dogs life within the industry as important as the first 3 months. Most of these dogs have earned the industry and government money on betting turnover. So we all are responsible when the dogs are retired not just the owners and trainers.
