It's pretty impressive Jim.

From 9 whelping's (2 are not racing age yet) or 48 pups, he's produced 40 city wins.

He's only produced 1 Group winner (plus 1 "Group Listed" win) from 17 attempts but he's holding his own & is well above average.

Steve I backed the second placed dog in this race

And couldn't believe the run of the winner......that's when I first noticed his sire and what he's achieved .If I had a Fabregas bitch he'd be my first choice.

Hi Jim,

I have done a lot of form on vic dogs for years in a major way he was a big track dog and suited to horsham and cranbourne.

Most stayers are bred for it the sames sires throwing stayers and usually good stayers are bitches 25-28 kg in size. I don't think hallunicate threw too many male stayers of note (but i can be wrong) so to answer your question probably too brilliant to be a genuine stayer. Lots can win over 600m but cant get he 700m plus.
As bart cummmings used to say they can all run two miles its just how fast is the question. cheers
