FLYING FLYER - A nice pedigree

My attention was drawn to this recent winners 'Pedigree', after she won at The Meadows on Saturday night ---> CLICK HERE The BITCH was whelped in Ireland & raced there too with success, before being shipped out to Australia where she has been racing & winning with Andrea Dailly.
She's obviously been brought out here to not only race but to eventually breed with too.
A quick look at her pedigree shows she has a nice mix of successful brood-bitches inbred, such as - Follow Through, Westmead Flight & Skipping Chick, but her 'Tail-line' which stretches back to one of the greats 'Maythorn Pride' who was brought to prominence by the legendary breeder Pat Dalton, is what interest me.
Maythorn Pride has been inbred 4 times in 'Flying Flyer' pedigree, all in "X" when you break it down....using 2 individual litter sisters from her 'Sandman' litter - Slight Chill & Bleak Weather.
This damline is also responsible for the sire of 'Premier Fantasy', namely 'Premier County' through 'Wise Plan' which is Flying Flyer's 4th great-grand-dam.
When you examine Premier Fantasy pedigree you'll notice he too is inbred to 'Maythorn Pride' through the exact same cross, Slight Chill & Bleak Weather ---> CLICK HERE
When Flying Flyer goes to the breeding barn, I wonder if she'll be bred to this obvious niche?
A sire who has Premier Fantasy as the 'Dam-sire' would be ideal.
Even better...a 3rd litter sister from that talented Sandman litter in 'Miss Hilary' could be included.

Yes it must have been one hell of a litter Ryan, for Dalton to breed with 6 of the 8 bitches in this litter of 12 (4 dogs).
I notice one of the dogs from this litter "Sand Black" broke a leg & never starter, but went on to be a sire. A similar story to Nation Parade & Cry Havoc (to name a few).
I wonder if there's any background 'Notes" on this litter, as to WHY Pat bred to most of the bitches?

I wonder how many top race bitches never get to have a litter in the U.S.A. ? If i were to import a bitch from the U.S.A. i would be looking for a Lonesome Cry bitch, L.C. has been a terrific sire of Broods IMO.

agree she looked impressive Steven but sectionally i was expecting better, unless the track was a little off.
13.07 midrace is only average (sub 12.95 is really sharp) 25.47 ptp is fair (sub 25.35 is really moving) 78 overall even tho checked on the first turn............maybe a lot better over the 700m trip ?
This bloke was one of the better Irish imports I'd seen of latter times CLICK HERE but he went faster at Sandown. Cheers.

Hi Ryan/Steve .. Vans Escalade is particularly interesting with regard to Premier Fantasy .. CLICK HERE .. they share similar pedigrees
CLICK HERE .. has just come over to our trainer from Pat Dalton as a potential brood for the future .. she's no spring chicken but very lightly raced and ought to be open class over a trip
The damline is all about stamina and the sire throws plenty of strength as well .. make no mistake the further these go the better they'll be !!
