I think Avatar is a very underrated sire over here. He has produced the winner of last weeks Million Dollar Chase in Handsome Prince .. the 2020 Paws Of Thunder winner King Cratos 2017 Launching Pad winner Suffragette .. Goulburn record holder Got To Casino .. plus Ebby Ripper ($325,000 stakes) .. multiple group finalist Matt Machine Unison Ebby Chance etc etc

He is one of Americas busiest sires and has been for some time and gets multiple winners at Southland every week

Djays Octane's legacy may end up being as a decent broodsire in Australia

I don't think his bitches have bred extensively as yet

The effect of USA lines here is profound IMHO

They are only about 2 years old, lightly raced and have run fast times on the TAB tracks

Kiowa Mon Manny
DJ's Octane
Lonesome Cry

Were all Top Sires in the USA, imo all were disappointing here but all 3 will more than likely prove to be very handy Brood Bitch sires in 0z !!!!!

Kiowa mon manny being so inbred was never going to throw to all of our Australian bloodlines .imo

What is clear for all to see is that his sons and grandsons throw on that super hard chase and strength and it is getting better as each generation hits that Potent blood

I also understand what dont work today will always work in the future it comes down to timing when standing any stud dog .

Lonesome Cry broods are throwing on ..Octane Broods will throw on ..Kiowa Mon manny broods are all throwing on with a range of bloodlines influencing the inbred USA blood .

Sire standings were just posted for the USA.
SH Avatar is now the #1 sire, doubling the nearest competitor in top class wins at major tracks
