Hi All,

Illusionary CLICK HERE has been retired to the breeding barn after a recent injury. She retires with a race record of 24-7-2-4 including 4 city wins in NSW and QLD.

Some of her best times include;

Track Record at The Gardens over 715m in a blistering 41.72, breaking the record held by former staying greats Texas Gold, Miagi and Zipping Lad. She also publicly trialled 34.25 over 600m at the same track, breaking the prior record and making her the fastest bitch there ever over both 600m and 715m at the time.

She ran a staggering 29.35 first look over 520m at Sale, 30.04 at Albion Park over 520m and 34.89 over 600m.

With a mix of strength and speed, she also displayed great speed over 480m at Grafton recording 27.24, Casino 27.67 over 484m. She also went 30.68 at Ipswich over 520m.

I've been contemplating several ideas with her, being to breed for a pure stayer by using a sire such as Bekim Bale, or by introducing speed via Aussie Infrared, or finally an import such as SH Avatar.

She is a boisterous, front running type, would could benefit from a sire that is known to produce well mannered pups.

Look forward to your thoughts.

SH Avatar pups are usually pretty chilled out. Other than him, I like:

Craig,

Of the sires you mention, on paper I really like the look of AUSSIE INFRARED CLICK HERE and whilst he will be an unknown quantity for around another 12 to 15 months I personally believe if patronised, given his lines, he will indeed throw.

If you are willing to "bite the bullet" and use an unkown sire then I can't see why you wouldn't/shouldn't go for it, afterall it is your - time, labour and money!

If I was suggest a proven sire then I think BARCIA BALE CLICK HERE looks a definite standout for her.

All the very best.

I would toss a coin between Barcia Bale and Fernando Bale, both look great for her and would be my choice for her first 2 litters.

Hey Craig, although unproven and I have recently mentioned him in another post I think Spacestar could be a good option. He is jam packed full of producers and IMO carriers the best staying dam line in the country through Trojan Tears. His sister Tears Siam has produced the brilliant Rippin Sam and Tornado Tears. I have no connection to this dog I just think he would be a great choice. Cheers

Yeah his offspring are looking pretty decent from GD figures. Oldest Dec 2015, with a Grp 3 winner, a Grp 3 3rd and 10 rated 100 or above from only 40 listed
