Very disappointing Mick

Better off having a meeting in a location further afield from Bulli up against Wentworth Park on a Saturday night

Don't know why Lismore or Grafton or Dubbo can't have a Saturday night and give Bulli Sunday afternoon twilights

GRNSW NEED SOME ONE THAT KNOWS THE RACING INDUSTRY TO RUN IT TEMORA HAD A DOZEN RACES WHAT DOZ THAT TELL YOU AND WE OWN THE TRACK AND NOT ONLY IS IT THE BEST TRACK IN NSW TO RACE AT ASK ANY SYDNEY TRAINER THAT HAS RACED THERE OVER THE LAST YEAR OR SO ANDTHEY WILL TELL YOU JUST HOW GOOD IT IS AND YES WE DO OWN IT>IT SHOULD BE A TAB TRACK BUT THE POWERS TO BE DONT HAVE A CLU WHATS GOING ON AND WAGGA HAD A FULL PROGRAME ON FRIDAY THERE IS THAT MANY DOGS DOWN THAT WAY AND GET ONLY A HAND FULL OF MEETINGS WHATS GOING ON WE NEED LEADERS WHO KNOW WHATS GOING ON.

Exactly John, Temora or Wagga on a Saturday night would be a far better option than Bulli

Most of the closer Sydney trainers are flat out getting to Wentworth Park to race with their better dogs on a Saturday night

Even if they had a dog for Bulli, they would probably choose to leave it at home and bring the city dog to Wenty

Added benefit is that TAB B money could be given to these outer tracks and give them a chop at the better prizemoney to strengthen their racing

Wauchope or Grafton as well.

IMO, Cessnock is the best track in Australia n theyre not even racing there. So, there you go !

The extra meetings at Richmond on Tuesday and Goulburn onThursday was always leave a short fall somewhere.
With the closing of Canberra Goulburn was never going to be a suitable replacement.
They would be better off putting extra races at Nowra, Wagga, Temora and Goulburn. (12 races instead of 10).
I am hearing there is more people trialing at Nowra since Canberra has closed.

Isn't Canberra Racing Club going to `race' at Goulburn on Thursdays (day meeting) until lights go up there for night meetings on Sundays for the Canberra Racing Club ????

Also, why would you trial at Nowra when they're short of nominations at Bulli ??? Maybe it's a closing of noms matter. Still, it doesn't make sense to me.

Bulli is very hard to win at, most races have dogs who are city class. Nowra is also a lot closer to Canberra than Bulli and also is a 2 turn track like Canberra was.
They also trial Sunday afternoon which would be a lot easier to get there.
