Great news today. Suffragette, the 2017 Launching Pad winner, came on season. Injuries crippled what could have been a super career. 29 starts for 13 wins, and twice slipped back muscles. Let's hope she has more luck in the breeding kennel. First stop, Fernando Bale.

Elite Alex (FB x Suffragette 2021 litter) runs 29.26 Sandown.
9 starts 6 wins.
Looks like he'll eat more distance.
Exciting

This dog has now won 11 of 21 and over $70k.
Ran a B.O.N 29.18 at Sandown followed by a B.O.N 29.87 at Meadows.
And only turns 2yo next week!

Stud potential???
Or does he have to win a group race?

To hit the ground running at stud he needs a Group 1 win or a TR, but he will be used either way, imo.

Well I've been following this boy for a while now and he's made it into his first G1 final, the Egg.
And although I'm still a fan and will keep punting him, I'm also going to answer my own question - stud potential???

In my opinion - no.
He had that heat wrapped up last night, looked to be making the ground easily enough, but didn't show enough raw chase and desire for the lure around the last bend.
That's not taking anything away from the winner, and I do hope he comes out and smokes them in the final to prove me wrong.
