John with all due respect I would look to source a better credentialed brood if you were going to go to the expense of having a litter
She looks to have only gone steady in her career as well as her litter mates and good quality broods are a diam a dozen these days with the lack of people willing to breed

Mark thank you for your opinion could you tell me what is your preferred blood lines or is your better credentialed brood chosen on her racing performances. I am only new at this and I thought having double cross of Collision three crosses Malawi Prince three crosses of Rumble Spirit double cross of Sobbing Sal double cross of Brett lee all at above 9% plus Light of Fire New Tears Tranquil Flame and Eaglehawk star would give the pups a good start genetically. but that is why I posted on this site to get opinions and I thank you for yours. Maybe there is someone out there that has a good brood bitch they do not want.

Hi John

Im not into any particular line but I do look for a bitch that could run at least 500 and was city class and or part of a high quality litter
I havent done much breeding myself so Im no expert but I got a hold of dyna Lachlans sister which provided us with over 100 winners (majority vic wins)
She wasnt the fastest bitch but won over 500m and obviously the brother and sister were freaks
I believe doing this will give you a much better chance than the path you might have gone down and then at least your a chance of selling some off if need be

Cheers

Hi John.
IMO I agree 100% with Mark. A better credential bitch (& litter) will give you a better start.

That was tried with that bitches litter & it didn't help.

I do like that double...but the bitch (when you study her pedigree) has been inbred over the last 3 generation to certain quality damlines, with limited success.

Everybody wants to bred with their first greyhound. My family did it back in Aug 1979 from an average bitch & she produced city winners & a greyhound of the year....but that was different back then.

It's your choice John & money, but with my experience now my advice would be, to choose more wisely as it all starts with the bitch.

Good luck

Fair points by all , proven theorys , no arguments there !

But there are a few variables sometimes that the paper stats dont show or explain
Eg . Injury , placing of pups etc

Then there is the owner , his place and environment ( on acrerage) and what their intentions are with the duration of the pups entire life .

Good luck john to you and your son

Her dam threw a city winner in Gagen Collin , looks a mad chaser !

Id clean her out and give her some outcross with some strength and fire her up with something through the dam thats worked with her pre lines in 4th or 5th gen

Try this fella , early reports are good from young pups

CLICK HERE

Kinloch has niched wonderfully with collision
Go wild teddy should fire her up and is proven to Brett lee through Barcia Bale

Here is an example of introducing head honcho to your lines

CLICK HERE
Good luck and more importantly enjoy , sorry I dont where he stands or price ?
