On closer inspection after racing one its offspring , this guy is doing things owners should or couldnt be prouder of imop
Ive noticed his brother Paw licking served same brood for not much , then allkel served and to say the least smashed it ..........? You could say outdoing his brother in a short list thus far
They look like special types aswell , very well put together and nice size Note he weighed 36kg himself
Strange how one sire can get all the publicity and another zero (they are litter brothers ,both GRP winners and trec holders )
Well done Al Williams hope he gets the accolades, I think hes a good Smokey for Poeple who would like good chase and honest types not at a rip off commercial price
Cheers again

All pups to race so far have won multiple races. Good luck to connections.
If this dog was a fair bit less than $1650, I would use him. I think he ticks a lot of boxes for my bitch, but so do 3 or 4 other dogs. I see he has 4 litters, all with connections of the dog. No one else is using him. And for $1650, no one else will use him. Even though he was a freak on the track, but every week another star retires. The ones like this just get left behind.
If connections want to get bitches for this sire, drop the price. I'll buy one today and use it before Christmas.

Unfortunately there's a fair few sires where they've been priced out of the market before their stud careers get going (I'm not gonna name them, but it isn't hard to guess). I know getting a sire going isn't cheap, but I think if studmasters gave a few straws away or sold them at cost it'd get pups on the ground for the sire and give them a chance of making a name for themselves.
The amount of sires that go to stud starting between $1650-$2750 no matter what they did on the track is ridiculous

Why wouldn't you use his older brother, better performed and been a more than handy sire?
Good on you for trying and by the sounds of it succeeding. It's never cheap to have a dog at stud and i know the straw is the cheapest part, but it's good to see some stud masters are willing to cut a deal still
I might have to find a sire I like and try my luck next litter now I know it's possible ;)
