sitting at number 3 in the metropolitan sires list ,

2681 runners win 16% place 45%

fernando 3555 runners win 18% place 49%

barcia runners 5789 win 17% place 44%

so his numbers are up there with the best available

both the other sires are currently at $8800 and 54 breedings per quarter available (each )

kinloch brae in very short supply , and demand quite high ,

if you can source these for $5500 id suggest you snap up as many as you can get because you will be on a winner ,

but the adds i see lately are people wanting to buy currently 2 on here , facebook i seen others wanting to buy

Dividing there pups prize money by number of runs gives another indication of how there going

Fernando 11574 runs @$680.26

Barcia 22351 @ $481.21

DDO 8657 @ $467.35

Coll 4046 @ $454.44

KB 9665 @ $443.98

Strike rates and % money talks

P.S Steve Martin Zambora 178 @ $771.03 see how he goes when the runs get up around 5000 and a few group wins I'm looking at giving him a go.

I'm not into bagging sires but if you're considering using a sire maybe go to the "Thegreyhoundrecorders" stat page and crunch some numbers it might sway your decision. Taking into note numbers of runs for young sires might be overs. eg Zambora and using a freshman is another risk all together.

You wont be getting any for 5.5k anymore, but 8k id say is too expensive. Have seen a few for around 6.5k/7k and to me he is worth every bit of that

Two more group wins for the sire for the week. Oakvale beauty wins Laurels in race record time and Westend Envoy wins Ballarat cup after going down by a half head in Melb cup Final. This sire would have to be the best import we have seen to our shores in many a year.

Giddy up Mick. KB turns 15 this year. I'd hope he too at that age could still produce the odd Group winner.

Does the great dog still breathe the air we breathe? He's getting on.
